We handle a wide range of foot-related problems from ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts, diabetic care, bunions, hammertoes, skin biopsies, sports medicine and custom-made orthotics for every age group from pediatric to geriatric. Many foot conditions require hands-on care, but some we can also diagnose and treat by telephone and electronic communication.

The office was designed to help you feel comfortable and at home. Patients can relax from the moment they arrive. Care is personalized and double-booking of appointments is not done. You can usually be seen within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, sometimes even before your time. Care is taken to provide you with answers to your concerns and inform you of all treatment options.

So, you notice several irregularly shaped thick, rough patches on the soles of your feet that have been growing in size and number. You tried over-the-counter "wart removers", picking at them, ignoring them, applying duct tape to them and they still don't go away. Now, they are starting to hurt and get ugly.
Let's say that you are like millions of people that suffer with pain in your heels, arches, lower back or knees. You have heard the "buzz" about orthotics but haven't a clue what they are or where to purchase them. Perhaps I can explain. When I prescribe Orthotics, I am referring to custom-made arch inserts that are sturdy enough to bear full body weight without "sinking down" or flattening out.
Ingrown toenails are one of the most common and, thankfully, one of the most easily cured problems that I treat. They are caused by a combination of factors including genetics, improper nail trimming, trauma and "digging out" the nail corner. Many people co-exist with these "ticking time bomb" nails for years by performing "bathroom surgery" or by seeing a pedicurist who is ill-trained to tackle this problem.

Fungus or dermatophytes are slow growing micro-organisms, related to mold. They are present on moist surfaces everywhere and feed off of epidermal cells that are in moist, dark places, i.e., your feet! Fungus grows from spores that can remain dormant for weeks during dry conditions. Once it grows, it can bloom into an itchy, painful red rash on the feet and between the toes.

Dr. Wexler was great podiatrist for my needs. She listened to my concerns, I never felt rushed, and she skillfully addressed my foot problem. It was easy to get an appointment at a time that fit my schedule and I never waited more than 10 minutes (and usually because I was early). I'd highly recommend her if you need a foot doctor.
