Every day at Vivid Orthodontics poses new challenges and experiences, which allows me to continue to learn and grow as an Orthodontic Assistant. Outside of work, you can find me attached at the hip to my French Bulldog, Remington, coaching toddlers on how to play soccer, or baking something sweet! I love getting to know patients and watching their smiles transform!
Dr. Brian Michel is a Wisconsin native with a passion for improving teeth, health and confidence through the field of orthodontics. He doesn't just fix teeth - he loves helping you live free and love your life here in the Appleton area. Dr. Brian is a three-time graduate of Marquette University.
He graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences in 2011, received a doctorate in Dentistry in 2015, and completed his post-graduate Orthodontic Specialty training and Master of Science degree in 2017.Dr. Brian is a board-certified orthodontist through the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).

While there's no "right" age to see a pediatric orthodontist for the first time, the American Association of Orthodontics does recommend a consultation around age 7. We agree that this is the best age to seek an orthodontist, as overcrowding, overbites and other alignment problems first start appearing at this age.

I had braces when I was younger and I wasn’t fully satisfied with the way my teeth looked, so I came back to see Dr. Brian for the first time and I could not be more happy that I did. He, and all of the rest of the staff, was so amazing. I had seen three other orthodontists before him and all of them just said to keep wearing my retainers and sent me home. Dr. Brian listened to my concerns, and told me how he planned to fix them. After a few weeks of aligners, I am so so happy with the way my teeth look. Everything went so smoothly and the cost was beyond affordable. Everything exceeded my expectations

My experience with Burbey Orthodontonics left me with severely damaged teeth. I now have to undergo extensive jaw surgery and tooth resortation in order to repair the damage that was done and I am only 21. Please do not take your children to Dr. Burbey - you will pay an arm and leg for his services and then have to pay so much more in order to repair your mouth from the damage he does.
