Ciao Bella Sewing is a unique and educational experience for students, that has 2 focuses: teaching various sewing classes at local park districts, community centers and schools and running a variety of workshops and summer camps at the Ciao Bella Sewing Studio. We strive to maximize our presence in the community.

Take a look through our calendar to see the various sewing classes we offer at local community centers in Chicago's North Shore. Ciao Bella Sewing is excited to offer a variety of creative sewing and fashion camps this summer!
Sewing is an essential lifelong skill! If you're learning how to sew or just brushing up on an old skill, basic sewing is the course for you. You'll learn basic stitch techniques by hand. The instructor will guide you as you hand sew your own projects. Students should provide their own sewing materials including thread, sewing needles, fabric and other specialty materials.
Are you looking for a fun and creative Birthday Party for your little one? Let us help you. We offer several children's sewing birthday party packages. We will work with you to make sure your little one has an original birthday- one that will be remembered and enjoyed by all! The birthday will consist of sewing and creativity.

Taylor and her staff are the best around! I have attended a few Ladies Workshops and I am beyond satisfied with the projects every single time (my fleece vest that I made is my absolute favorite and a staple in my wardrobe)! CB instructors are so patient and creative, offering a variety of classes for all levels. The children projects will blow you away, they get cuter every month. I highly recommend Ciao Bella Sewing to all my friends and family, and anyone interested- you will not be disappointed!

That’s right! Among my assorted talents, I can also use a sewing machine! (only if Taylor, the owner threads it for me first😉) We had a blast going to Ciao Bella for a group project where we sewed and embroidered some holiday towels and I also upgraded and reinforced the elastic bands on some new PPD masks. Youngsters have private, group lessons, and birthday parties here! FYI-Here are some of the other places where Ciao Bella has offered group lessons, and it’s super easy to book online:

Ciao Bella Sewing is the best! Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful! As a sewing newbie I have learned so much from all the instructors and have perfected my practice. The kids classes are so wonderful and such a great activity too. Overall, Ciao Bella is an amazing sewing studio and I recommend everyone stop by for a fun class!

I highly recommend Ciao Bella Sewing! Taylor and her staff are simply wonderful! They are so creative, patient and kind, offering a variety of personalized classes for adults and little ones. I attended a girl’s night poncho sewing party and had a blast as a novice/beginner. With simple step by step direction from staff, I created a beautiful and stylish poncho that I love wearing and receive many compliments on. Looking forward to another class soon! Ciao Bella Sewing is the most fun studio ever!! It is so up to date, clean, organized and they always have the best projects. Their sewing projects are so unique and are great for all ages/levels of sewers. I am a beginner and have made the cutest things with Ciao Bella! This is such a great idea for birthdays, events, girls day, or just to expand your skills and learn more about the hobby. Do yourself a favor and spend a day at CB, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Ciao Bella Sewing was a wonderful experience! I have taken a few sewing classes with friends, and we had the best time! I went both times with a group of women, we did learn how to sew, and we made vests, and another time we made P.J.’s!! They turned out adorable and we had so many laughs! Taylor, who owns the company is so kind and helpful, that our night was so enjoyable because of her and her employees! I will definitely be going back to Ciao Bella Sewing Again!!!! ❤️

I absolutely love Ciao Bella Sewing! I’m a total beginner, but I have had so much fun and learned so much at the sewing workshops I’ve attended at the studio. Taylor and the other instructors are super helpful and kind! They make the sewing process stress free and very enjoyable. I’ve made clothing items, themed pillows, towels and more at Ciao Bella! I love all of the items and they’re so special to have since they are handmade. Can’t say enough good things about Ciao Bella and looking forward to another workshop soon.

Love Ciao Bella Sewing! I am a total beginner (never used a sewing machine before). Taylor is the best teacher! We had a small group making vests, ponchos and then another time to make PJ bottoms! So much fun! Taylor's YouTube videos are so easy to follow at home. I was able to make my own pillow covers, a poncho and masks during lockdown. Highly recommend signing up for a class or a camp!

I absolutely LOVE Ciao Bella Sewing! Everything from Taylor (the owner/instructor) and her vibrant, easy-going, and patient nature, to the adorable studio, and not to mention, the AMAZING projects, I recommend Ciao Bella Sewing time and time again! I haven't sewed since high school, and while I was super nervous about attending one of her adult classes, it was JUST the refresher I needed! The class was comprised of everyone from novice to experienced, and Taylor made sure to support and hold each and every one of our hands along the way. It was just the confidence boost I needed!
