Rick Cordrey - Rick graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Ornamental Plant Science. He is the President and co-owner of RSC Landscaping LTD. He is considered by many to be the true backbone of the company. With over twenty years of experience, Rick has turned a sixteen acre farm into one of the largest and most well respected landscaping companies in Delaware.
He has been featured in numerous magazines for his unique ability to create designs that truly transform his customer's landscapes. The abundant knowledge he has accumulated over his career along with his continued education in the industry has allowed him to become one of the premier landscape designers in the region.

Our website will provide you with all the information you will need to create and maintain a beautiful garden. We are a retail and wholesale nursery offering a variety of trees, evergreens, flowering shrubs, grasses, natives, perennials, annuals, house plants, tropicals, and more. Some of our specialties are creating custom containers, landscape design, and custom installations.
Valery, Rick, and Steve Cordrey launched RSC Landscaping in 1990. After years of not being able to find unique plant selections locally, the family decided to create their own growing division and garden center to fill the void. They wanted to have a large assortment of plants available for their landscaping projects and in addition, offer them to homeowners and wholesalers who were also searching for high quality, unique plants.
Do you have an insect or disease attacking your plant? The University of Delaware has a great diagnostic clinic where you can mail your sample to them to diagnose it. A copy of the sample submission form may be downloaded and printed from this site. Many homeowner samples may not need to be sent to the Clinic, but may be diagnosed by Master Gardeners or County Agents in the county Extension offices.

WOW!!! Absolutely one of the larger nurseries in Delaware. All staff were extremely helpful and even drove us to the location of the privet we were looking to purchase. They even helped load all 37 of the privet into our trailer. We will be visiting again if we need to purchase landscaping plants. They also had an extremely large selection of very mature trees and shrubs which is something you do not see alot in any nursery. We didnt see many veggies there but could have overlooked it as the place is big! Definitely take a moment to visit and you'll not leave empty handed for sure!

Sam and Chris were awesome. They planted the magnolia very quickly and were incredibly helpful and insightful about some other options for planting in the yard. Honestly some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I felt like they were members of my family and loved how kind they both were. Definitely ordering more trees and grateful for people like Chris and Sam.

The selection and quality of products was exceptional. However the most remarkable aspect of this business was the knowledgeable and attentive staff! We were able to find not only the products for which we were looking, but the staff members were able to direct us to even better quality products. We will continue the frequent the East Coast garden center and will recommend them to everyone who is looking for this type of service.
