We believe "great gardens start at the roots" and the story of our beginning truly reflects that statement. As a child you could find me, Catherine, spending the majority of my days outside. Bill has always had a love for working the land and being outdoors. Our shared passion for plants, gardening and landscaping is what brought Roots Garden Center & Landscaping to life.
In 2002, we decided to transform a farmer's field along Rt. 113 in Frankford into the home of Roots Landscaping. Over the years it has grown into the colorful, sprawling garden center that it is today. We enjoy serving the homeowners and professional landscapers of our local beach communities as well as the visitors on their way to a great vacation in our resort towns.

Scattered throughout our Garden Center you will find nine beautifully curated display gardens featuring trees, shrubs, perennials, wild flowers, and even vegetables. Each is updated seasonally and designed to showcase plants in their natural landscape.

We've been working with irrigation systems for 20 years and can do it all from design, to installation, to maintenance. For new systems, we can also manage the water and electrical source.

There's nothing worse than water coming into your home or having a yard that's flooded after a storm. Much of this can be avoided with proper drainage systems and correct grading of your lot. When you encounter these problems, we can help. Grading for new construction is another specialty of ours. We have worked in many of the new communities in our local coastal area preparing lots for lawn and landscaping installations.
