Since 2018, VisualEyes Optique has served as a dedicated and caring provider of exceptional medical eye care and vision services to Malvern, Paoli and the surrounding communities. Our owner, Dr. Laura Lehman O.D., brings over a decade of experience of providing the highest quality eye care to her patients.
Dr. Lehman's journey to become an optometrist started at a young age. As a 4th grader, Dr. Lehman underwent the first of three eye surgeries. After the first surgery, Dr. Lehman remembers wearing her new, trendy sunglasses that her grandparents had bought for her when a nice lady in the hospital elevator told her that she looked like a movie star!
There are many eyeglass lens options available. Your eye care provider will take your lifestyle and vision correction needs into consideration when helping you select the right lenses for your eyes. Transition lenses - These lenses are made of dynamic materials that automatically adjust to the level of surrounding light.
Do you need vision correction but don't want to wear eyeglasses full time? Contact lenses are a great option for almost anyone. If you have a high prescription or astigmatism, contact lenses may provide more enhanced vision correction than glasses. Today, you can even replace your bifocal glasses with bifocal contact lenses.
In addition to assessing your visual acuity, your eye care provider will test for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes are functioning together, and more. Serious health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure are often first detected during an eye exam. The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends children have their eyes examined at 6 months old, three years old, at the start of school, and every two years until age 18.

Dr. Lehman is the most advanced optometrist you are likely to meet in any practice anywhere. Her office and equipment are modern and sophisticated, and she obviously cares a great deal about her patients. Dr. Lehman evaluated and fitted me with two pairs of Neurolens glasses for a neurological eye disorder, and her knowledge and care have been essential in helping me manage this disorder. I therefore highly recommend this practice.

We had great experiences with Dr. Zingaro so we sought him out when he moved. However, something is wrong. If you don't mind paying for the most expensive glasses (over the top with all options) that you'll ever buy, that won't suit their use, go here. My wife was given progressive lens', with every special expensive option, even though the main use for the glasses were reading and computer work. Those lens didn't work out for their use. In the end, went to single vision reading lens. No satisfaction guaranteed at this place and no refund for the most expensive lens we ever bought. Oh yea, I found

Wonderful experience as a first time patient. All team members were warm and welcoming. The office was bright and clean, and they have a nice variety of brands to choose from. I felt like I was asking a friend for advice more than being a customer. My exam was thorough and the doctor kindly double-checked a question I had from a previous exam two years ago by someone else. Overall, I've never had a better experience and I've been wearing glasses or contacts for more than 25 years. From the front desk staff, which is the very helpful Jenn, to the medical eye care staff - we love this place! Our eye doc, Vincent Zingaro, moved here a few months ago and since we have used him for over a decade, we followed him. Even the drive from Coatesville to Malvern is worth it! Convenient location. I love that the use reusable documents to scan vs. paper format to prevent that waste! Very sleek set-up and welcoming environment! I would highly recommend this practice. Heck, Dr. Z has even written a BOOK about the eye! This is a great place for my entire family's eye care.

I highly recommend VisualEyes, I had a great experience from setting my appointment all the way through the exam. VisualEyes was recommended to me from a friend and I was able to schedule an appointment on their website in minutes. I appreciated the frequency of the notifications leading up to the appointment; they were not overwhelming and also didn’t just notify me 10 minutes before my appointment. Dr Lehman and her team are excellent. They took excellent care for my 4 daughters specially my 3 year old who was unwilling to take an eye exam. The front desk lady was super nice too. She explained all our options for the glasses and gave us lots of time to look over the glasses even though closing time was near. I highly recommend VisualEyes Optique.

I could not have been happier with my experience at VisualEyes. Scheduling my appointment was easy and the office was able to accommodate my work schedule. The office building and everything in it is new. It is a beautiful space and extremely well cared for. The assistant who greeted me was welcoming and very friendly. Dr. Lehman is outstanding. She was prompt and extremely thorough. She offered me sample contacts to wear for a week and I was able to return so she could identify the best option for my needs.

Had a great experience here. The front desk clerk was super welcoming and answered all the questions I had and worked on getting the glasses I liked to fit my head. The optometrist was very nice and got the job done. She also was great about answering my questions. They did different tests and seeing as how I hadn't had an eye exam in a while, they were very thorough to make sure I was healthy. They had a good selection of frames. Got my glasses within a week, really satisfied with the waiting time. Only reason I gave 4 stars is I wish they had a few more less expensive frame selections
