I regret every time I think “hey maybe this time they’ll get my order correct…. “. And so I give them another try. Every time I say “No Cheese Please… make sure it doesn’t have cheese…. No really you guys always put cheese on it”. Today, for the last time, I ordered just like that. And just like that I get her order back dripping in cheese. Then when I go to counter to correct it, it’s like a giant hassle. Like it’s the customers fault that they cannot get a simple “no cheese” order correct. I must end this abusive relationship

My family and I have been coming here for years but for some reason out of my last 6 orders 4 of them has been incorrect or missing items. Unfortunately this seems to happen when I'm going to work and can't turn around. This last time I asked for wheat bread no butter....as you can see " No Butter" is on the receipt, but no wheat bread smh. I would over look this if it wasn't for the frequency of these mistakes, and it was not busy. Think I have to find a new breakfast spot or at least go to the one on Okeechobee Blvd. They seem to do better with orders.

I was a former patron of Makebs from 2007 to 2012. I came here for lunch about three days a week and absolutely loved it back in the day. I was in town for a business meeting and decided to stop in here for lunch. I have to say, a lot has changed. Not only was the customer service lacking but the place was a mess. Most of the tables weren’t cleaned off so I cleaned off a table and took a seat. Pulled out my laptop to start working and my order came out pretty quick. I called on the morning of December 29, 2021 was put on hold three separate times for over 10 minutes. What I could hear in the background was them saying hello to other walk in customers, they never came back to me. This is the second time this has happened to me at this establishment.
The employees are very rude, and just showed an attitude that they do not care about their customers. The food is good.

Have not been there in years because of bad service. Stopped in the day before Thanksgiving this year and was pleasantly surprised. Thought they may have turned a corner and now recognize the value of good customer service. Stopped in this morning for bagels for the office. Nope, turns out the other day was an anomaly. Same old crappy service, rude and aloof counter person. Good bye.

Great food but I had a terrible customer experience today there. There was what I assumed was the manager at the Register and she was beyond rude for no reason. I asked if I could have a shake and she immediately almost with a tone of yelling told me "I'm not making smoothies right now" . Sorry I made you actually do your job. Really ridiculous to be treated that way when I go in there alot. Completely unnecessary. Then she just wanted to get back to her phone which was on the register Aswell. As if she had to be on it and it was more important.

Good bagels, in West Palm Beach, are scarcer than a liberal at a red-hat rally. You just don't see it. Makeb's are middling quality, at best. From there it goes down hill.
The place has dirty, tired seventies time warp decor. Dingy is not a big seller in the shiny new downtown area, rebuilt.
You'll walk out smelling like garlic. They refuse to properly ventilate their prep area. Burnt garlic, from the toaster oven will be your perfume all day.

Doubt I'll come back here with all the other options around. Vegan asking for a smoothie and was very rudely cut off by being told "we don't have any of that", then ordered a bagel and asked what coffee options there were. Again rudely told "it's over there, just coffee". Saw other staff being rude to patrons as well, not welcoming at all.

This place is an abomination subway is a Michelin star experience compared to this place. No customer service. Smells like a sewer inside (ordered for pickup). Sinuey inedible meat . Coagulated half dried out broccoli cheese soup - so salty and gloopy. I'm not sure how this place is up to any kind of code.

Great food. Absolutely terrible service these people running this location should be ashamed of themselves and take notes from their other location west of i95. If you’re out of something on the menu why do you allow it to be ordered for delivery? If I wanted plain bagels I would have gone to Publix and bought 6 of them for three dollars. I swear it’s like these people purposely try to avoid all reason and logic. If you order foods from this place do not call it in over the phone or get it delivered. I've shared with the business but not sure if they'll even reply. Just very disappointed to open my bagel sandwich to find barely any cream cheese, especially after we paid extra for the veggie cream cheese. Ate a quarter bagel because I scraped off the rest from the rest of the bagel so it could taste like it supposed to be. Used to be a great place to go for a descent bagel with cream cheese, didn't mind paying $5 but now, it's not worth the money or the trip. Consistency is not there.

The bagels are great. On Sunday I got great service from a couple of young men. On Tuesday, terrible service from a young lady who doesn't speak English well. I ordered a sundried tomato with bacon egg and cheese. Got a sausage and cheese on chocolate chip? I mean please, freaking chocolate chip with sausage and cheese?

I really love the freshness of their bagels. I come here atleast once a week, two times this week. Both times my order was wrong. I usually order a toasted sundried tomato bagel with eggwhites and sausage. Which they added cheese to both time, even when i stated that i had a dairy allergy. Sad enough for me i wasnt able to consume my bagels today (as i didnt pick them up myself, to be able to check) . Customer service is horrible, cashier is rude to customers and also rude to employees. I understand everyone makes mistakes, but there is no need for her to treat the employees the way she does. The

I've been in the restaurant business my entire life. I own and operate multiple various locations so I do know how hard the business is operate. However, I highly recommend that you donot order anything via a delivery service from this restaurant. They'll send the wrong order then request, that you come pick up the corrected order. If that's what I wanted I would my have ordered delivery. Also very rude phone operators. Stay away from this place.

I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on an egg bagel, got a cold, sliced turkey sandwich. I also ordered a loose egg bagel... they gave me plain.
This was after I ordered over the phone, came 15 minutes later as instructed.... then stood and waited 30 minutes before having to ask someone to check for my order again, had eyes rolled at me and was handed the a completely wrong order with my name on it that was cold.
This place used to be my favorite spot and it seems like they need to get it together again, they make great food when you get what you ordered.... there were 3 people in front of me

Breakfast sandwiches are the best!!! I like this place to be my first stop of the day unfortunately the lady at the register makes my visit unpleasant, what an attitude! You can tell she hates her job ,she didn't even acknowledge me when i said good morning i can't believe after reading all this bad reviews on her she's still working there.

My sister and I walked in, no greeting.. just dirty looks as if they did not want us there.. she made a rude comment about us giving exact change to her coworker while checking us out, which made me terribly uncomfortable... and both continued to give us dirty looks on our way out.. and this happens every time I order and pick with that particular lady and we can say she now has a little minion that follows in her footsteps

The food, bagels, and coffee have always been decent here.. Unfortunately I have to agree with others when I say that the woman working the register has a terrible attitude and is definitely costing them business..

Delicious bagels at this great deli located in downtown WPB open for breakfast and lunch. There's plenty of seating in the dining room (when the world reconvenes and this is an option). Additionally, Makeb's offers delivery.
In the current climate, they're doing an excellent job with promoting social distancing amongst the customers as well as wearing their protective gear. There is plenty of signage and spaces are roped off. The staff are all wearing gloves too.
