I called Joan for an estimate on 251 feet of Cedar fencing, 3 rails, steel posts and 3 gates. She later emailed me the estimate, and it was very clear and professional looking. Allan and crew arrived on promised day and immediately got to work. Very professional in appearance, and efficient. Job had two additional change orders as we wanted more fencing done, and Allan was able to accommodate the added work with no sacrifice in quality.

Allen and team are fantastic! We live in the same community in La Mesa and HD Fence built our front yard fence, which came out beautifully. Several of our neighbors have also had HD Fence projects and everyone we spoke to before our project was very happy with the company. They do a variety of options, great pricing and service. I'd recommend HD Fence to anyone looking for a fence in San Diego.

Allen is a professional to the max and does an awesome job with fence installation. We had a little snag with the wall we were building, which the fence would go on, and he was flexible and accommodated the needed changes. Allen and his team worked hard the whole time they were here and they were on a mission to finish our fence. We are very happy with the outcome and have received numerous compliments on it. You can notice it from down the block and it's the best fence in the neighborhood.

I was very impressed with this company. It was recommended by a friend. They made an appointment to look at our fence within 3 days of my first call, came on time, and were very thorough in measuring, checking out what needed to be replaced, drew a picture of the space, sent an estimate broken down in sections for each step, sent a list of what to prepare the area before their arrival. Our son decided to do the job and I have no doubt the attention to detail and promptness would have been maintained had I chosen to hire them.

Called Allen initially because of his solid reviews on Yelp and he didn't disappoint! Allen initially came out for an estimate in May. He came out very quickly and gave me a competitive bid. I had to delay putting fence in due to timing of building pool. I had a narrow window to get the fence built so I circled back with Allen in September. The owners of HD Fence, Joan and Allen showed up on time for our estimate appointment, gave us an price quickly, answered emails and phone calls promptly. When it came to the demo of our old wooden fence and install of a beautiful new vinyl fence their employees were also on time, polite, hard working and got the job done exceeding our expectations!

I am leaving this review not as a commentary on their work but because I did not get a bid from them and the reason why.
If you want a bid, you better not mention that you are getting other bids. I made the mistake of mentioning this to the fellow (the owner I think-I've tossed the card) who came out to look at the job about 3 weeks ago. When he was getting ready to leave, I thanked him for coming out after he told me the time frame he would have the bid back to me. I then told him (as a courtesy) that we were going to be getting a couple of other bids so that he knew not to expect an immediate

HD fence had fixed my parents old rotten fence that was falling apart at the seams a common fence they shared with the neighbor I reached out to HD and they came and inspected it super cool people and awesome work they came and replaced the fence and it made the biggest difference we can now enjoy the backyard again

I hired HD fence to replace part of our fence & gate on the side of my house. I needed it to be done to keep my dogs safe & from getting out of our yard since the old gate was falling apart. When I called I left a message and Allen called me back right away, we set up a time for him to come to the house and evaluate the job. He was prompt, came on a Saturday morning since I work long hours during the week. Once he saw what needed to be done he recommended the beige instead of white vinyl. Allen came out to view our project and cut straight to the chase, no chit-chat, which I appreciated. He got us a bid within 24 hrs. We we're getting several other bids so it took a few weeks to decide but ultimately we went with Allen and are so glad we did.
