Capra Collina Winery
From the village of Pantana, in the hills of the Italian Province of Marche, Antonio Betti immigrated to the village of Jessup, PA in 1894. Capra Collina in English translates to "Nanny Goat Hill", an area of Jessup heavily populated by Italian immigrants in the early half of the Twentieth Century.

The settlers kept free-range goats for their milk and cheese, both ricotta and mozzarella. The goats were housed in a communal barn which later became the site of a public school. Unfortunately, the goats were imprinted to return to the site in inclement weather or at first sign of trouble. The school and surrouning neighborhood eventually was referred to as "Nanny Goat Hill".

Nice small winery/store. The wine tastings are fine and a decent price.

Owner was very friendly and knowledgeable! All the wines we tasted were great, there wasn't one we didn't enjoy, from the dry reds to the sweet! Our favorites were the blends and walked away with a half case and a wine glass.

Excellent wines made right there! Great variety of wines to choose from. Helpful staff. Lots of wine related goodies and wind making supplies to purchase. As long as you purchase a bottle, the tasting is free!

Great wine and though the selection of winemaking (by default, also homebrewing) is small they carry all of the essentials. Their wine should be had by every vino fan

Love this winery! Santina was a wonderful host and I would definitely recommend a tasting with her. I liked most of their wines but especially the Meritage and Raspberry Merlot. It is definitely worth trying it out!

I have been searching for the maker of OMG for about a year now. Finally found the building and did a tasting. The person doing the pouring was very knowledgeable and gave us a very good overview of their business. Will definitely go back
