Ken and Donna Wood would like to welcome you to Wood Winery, LLC located in Northeast Pennsylvania. We are a family owned and operated business where our wines are first priority. We source the best fruit possible, purchasing grapes, apples, and berries grown throughout Pennsylvania to produce our quality, small batch wines.
From the time the hand picked grapes arrive at the winery to be processed until the time we transfer the fermented juice into the bottles, our goal is to provide quality products that showcase our craft as well as the bounty of local farmers. Our wines are fruit forward and food friendly - representing the region in which the grapes are cultivated.

Unwelcoming workers. Stood there for awhile even though multiple workers passed by. Also asked what we were supposed to do because it was our first time there and the one worker didn’t even answer me and kept walking. Didn’t see the “policies” section on the website about no children. Drove far to visit this place and got the cold shoulder. Was looked down upon for bringing my 3 year old daughter with my wife. Will not go back nor recommend to any friends or family

We used to love coming here, but lately we've noticed that attitude towards our-of-state customers has changed.
This weekend we came to buy a case of wine. Once the staff realized that we were from NYC, their attitude has changed. They were rude to us and really made us feel unwelcome.
Very disappointing.

We found this place on a whim after a quick google search while on vacation. We knew with the pandemic that things may not be open as usual, but this charming little place had adorable outdoor garden seating that was social distance friendly. The lawn/garden had chairs/tables placed throughout and the flowers were blooming nicely. The wines that we sampled were fantastic and I especially loved the Sweet Bailey and special Green Apple Sangria that both ended up going home with me. If you’re in the area, this cute winery is worth going to!

Guess what? Another ride on the Goldwing with my honey and there is a winery involved!
The couple we were riding with heard about this place from a co-worker. Its off the beaten path but a very nice ride on the bike.
5 tastings for $2, place was small but lots of room to spread out if the weather is nice outside. It's like sitting in the backyard with a bottle of wine. Owners were very nice and very informative. Wines were like most wineries, some very good ... some not as much depending on your tastes. They made a delicious sangria which we enjoyed at a table under a nice apple tree.

We stopped at this little place a few months ago. Very hard to fine. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The wine was ok, some very good some not so much.
My problem - we purchased a bottle of a blended red and had it in our wine rack. After about a month, we came back to find that the cork had popped and shot across the room, narrowly missing the TV, but spilling red wind across a light tan carpet and white tile. The good news was that it all cleaned up, the bad was the time it took and the loss of the bottle of wine.

$2 for 5 wines?!....and they are good wines! It was a great tasting.
Visiting from MD, where quality dry wine is abundant, we are usually discouraged by PA wines because they tend to be overly light and/or sweet. Driving by my mother wanted to stop to "see what a wine tasting is all about", and we're always hopeful to find a hidden gem.
This winery is that hidden gem. A quaint house with beautiful views tucked back in the middle of nowhere. It was a bit hard to navigate from the highway but worth the detour. They have a massive tasting sheet, and for $2 for 5 it's worth running

I love this place. They have great and flavorful wine, a cozy tasting room, a beautiful yard/garden to take your drinks out to in the warmer month and offer amazing cheese and crackers to buy from a local dairy place. The owner has always been very nice and friendly with us when we've gone and even lets us bring our dog along to play with hers. Would definitely recommend stopping by. Their wine is my absolute favorite in the area.

This is our local winery and we prob go there every weekend. You can pair your favorite wines with cheese and crackers or other artisan goodies that are locally sourced. Live events through the seasons as well and pet friendly!! Donna and Ken wood are great at their craft and can make a wine drinker out of anyone!
