The Lake at Hi-Tide is perfect for summer days! An Iceberg climbing wall, large water trampolines, a log roll and large balance balls are just some of the features that you'll enjoy at the Lake at Hi-Tide. For parents that like to relax, you'll enjoy our lounge chairs overlooking the lake or laying out on the beach.
The Lake @ Hi-Tide is perfect for the entire family! If you're looking for local kids activities near Sandwich, Illinois, this is the place to be! Younger kids will enjoy the smooth sandy beach and shallow area of the lake, while the older kids enjoy large water toys that will keep them entertained all day long!
General Food Items (including, but not limited to, condiments, s'mores stuff, ice cream and more.) Hi-Tide has full laundry services for all guests to utilize. Laundry facilities are on a first come first serve basis. There is no need to worry about running out of clothes as you can always wash them and be right back at camping.
Did you forget something at home? The store at Hi-Tide is your on-site solution here to serve you daily. In addition to having common camping items for sale, there is also a game-room for kids of all ages. The Pavillion @ Hi-Tide is perfect for birthday parties, family reunions and of course, Saturday afternoon bingo!
When you book a reservation at Hi-Tide, we will confirm and guarantee that you will have the type of spot that you reserved. However, we do not guarantee the exact site that you will be in until you check-in. The reason for this reservation process is that we have a limited number of sites and a certain number of sites that fit certain sized campers/RV's.

Last time we camped there was 9yrs ago in a tent. We now have a camper and wanted to see if it was as much fun as it was then. We now have a camper so we booked full hook-up site. The sites are really small and congested - my friends arrived 15min early and they charged them $5.00; what campsite charges for arriving early; lady behind the counter said she could charge them the hour fee of $15. I've camped all my life and have never had to pay when we have arrived even as early as an hour +. If there isn't someone on the site, they let you in. You also cannot put your rugs down in-front of your

Would NEVER come back to this place. Campsites super close, and very hard to pull into. Kids running thru your campsite all day and night. Other campers were inconsiderate of your space. My dogs are super well behaved but that's not the case with every other dog in this place. Most were barking non stop and owners did nothing to stop it.

HI Tide Beach is a beach and campground facility located in Leland IL about an hour drive from St. Charles. The beach is a small man made lake with alot of very challenging floating devices in the water. The pyramid is definitely very challenging and alot of fun when you jump off the top. I would say that swimming near the bigger floating devices is rather challenging. If you do not have an excellent swimming ability I would definitely opt for the life vest for a $5.00 rental fee for the day.
Overall this is a very fun experience and I would highly recommend HI Ride Beach and Campground.

An honest review of Hi-Tide:
My friends and I came and reserved two sites. One of us had a tent and the other had a pop up camper and visited the weekend of July 9th. I would say the campground was 90% occupied.
Pros:
- The amount of activities! This campground is super family friendly. Lake, pool, pedal carts, mini golf, fishing, arcade and then the activities that they do on the weekends means that you won't be bored.
- Staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially considering how busy they are. Met the owner (they took ownership in March) and was very helpful.
- Prices in the shop
