I see most of the reviews are from corporate recruiters. Let me share my experience as a employee candidate and you will understand why they are having trouble finding someone. Yesterday, their recruiter reached my and introduced me a role, which I was totally not intended to apply at the beginning. The recruiter was nice and I found the role might be quite fit. He mentioned today his partner(most likely account manager) would reach me to discuss more.

StevenDouglas is one of a kind. I have been competing with them in the South Florida market for 7 years now in IT, A&F, and HR/TA. After getting laid off from my last Staffing Firm due to Covid, StevenDouglas gladly reached out to me as they are opportunist and were prepared for a rainy day. The worst experience ever - this firm should be avoided at all costs. Their subjects are meat sent on missions to hell. I know many people who have been desperate enough to contact them who were sent to garbage clients and locations. They pride themselves on preying on desperate individuals, abusing and embarrassing them - ultimately destroying their confidence. You have been warned!!

As a corporate recruiter, I would not recommend using Steven Douglas Associates. They reach out to me and when i replay back they doesn't know how to follow up with clients, I had to wait 4 days to get a replay back. Is this the type of agencies you want to work with.
