Our firm was founded in 1974 by Frank Pompo. At that time, the practice consisted of himself and his secretary. His office was located in the historic University Building located on East Washington Street in downtown Syracuse, where our office remains today. Frank built his practice from the ground up by developing strong relationships with his clients and employees alike.

I have used Pompo for my payroll for probably the last 8 years. Excellent customer-oriented service group.
But what really impressed me was the help they gave me while applying for the PPP during the pandemic. I was lost with all the paperwork terms required for applying for the PPP. I gave FJ Pompo a call and they walked me through it. Had they not been so prompt and helpful I may not have submitted my application in time. They helped keep my business running during a challenging time, and for that I will be forever grateful.

I found FJ Pompo through the "Camillus Community Connection" facebook page. I own a small corporation and needed to have my 2016 & 2017 personal and corp returns prepared because my prior accountant retired and I wasn't able to find a quality accounting firm that didn't charge an arm and a leg. I used F.J. Pompo & Co. for my personal return this year and would recommend them to anyone. I had a complicated return this year and they handled it with ease. What I needed to provide was communicated clearly, they did all the work on time or ahead of schedule, and went out of their way to ask questions to maximize my return.
