Unexpected events can change our lives or the lives of those we love in the blink of an eye. Whether the passage of time or the unexpected happens, Well Care can help, allowing family members to maintain a level of independence and remain in the home. Well Care is dedicated in developing a team of health care professionals and physician partners to serve the health needs of patients at home.

Services
Well Care Health is an integrated, post-acute care company providing home health and personal care services throughout North Carolina. It encompasses the entities, Well Care Home Health and Well Care Home Care. The agency serves more than 40 counties in North Carolina, from the coast to the Triad, and employs more than 800 people.
Well Care Home Care provides personalized assistance to our clients so they may "age in place." According to the U.S. Census Bureau, more than 7.6 million Americans receive home care. The number is much greater when you consider that it does not include informal care which is care given by a friend or family member.
Well Care Hospice delivers physical and emotional comfort to patients and their families when it matters most. We provide our patients with a skilled team of caring professionals to ensure they receive excellent medical, emotional, and spiritual care, as well as a variety of life-enhancing services.
The Telehealth Program is an easy to use monitoring system that, when placed in the home, will provide daily vital signs, monitoring and intervention opportunities, which will increase overall continuity of care. One can monitor Oxygen Saturation, Blood Pressure, Weight and Pulse in the home, while a Cardiac Nurse monitors these vital signs daily and contacts the patient, caregiver and physician of any changes.
You have the right to choose the home health agency from which you get services. Your choice should be honored by your doctor, hospital discharge planner or other referring agency. It is important to remember that Medicare only pays for home health services that are provided by a home health agency that meets Medicare's quality standards.

My mom had home health PT from them. Since my mom has memory issues, I tried to advocate for her. I left many messages with this company and these people NEVER ONCE returned any of my calls. GOD FORBID your loved one has dementia or the clinicians they send into your loved ones homes are a bad fit.... WELL CARE DOES NOT CARE. They will send the person back anyway! I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Most of the good reviews seem to be from employees. I’m not surprised. They were hired to treat my dads wounds. They came out on Tuesday, and on Friday I had to call them because we had no idea if or when they were coming back since we hadn’t heard from any one! Supplies were supposed to be ordered, but none showed up. I had to go buy them and change his dressings. They said someone would be there on Saturday, then Tuesday and Thursday next week. So if dressings needed changed every other day, why were they letting FIVE DAYS lapse this time!?! Great wound care Well Care!! Do yourself a favor

Company started out very well but several of their regular nurses have quit and we have a contractor at this time. Orders for supplies have not been received and supplies have been sparse for my 87 year old mother. I have had to purchase supplies for wound care myself or ask Duke for supplies. Some supplies are unattainable through their company supplier. Weekend staff does not return phone calls and have not shown up at all for appointments, leaving wounds not addressed in a timely manner. I really like our healthcare worker but am very unsatisfied with the company overall at this time.

I've enjoyed working with the Well Care leadership and team for almost ten years. Wayne Long inspired good people to do great work and provide caring service. I frequently hear friends and family in our community comment on the excellent service they received from Well Care Home Health.

I trusted Well Care to take care of my father after a long hospitalization and could not be happier with the service he received. The physical therapist took wonderful care of him and he has improved by leaps and bounds since they started. Thanks Well Care!

The best place I have ever worked, and will never work anyone else. Well Care Home Health cares about their employees; and really listens to employees for great ideas. Well Care feels like my second family.

I feel more qualified to rate this company after a couple months of experience. I was very pleased with their professional staff of PhysicalTherapy,Occupational Therapy, and Social Work .All such a pleasure to work with!! I also want to especially thank Victoria (my bath lady) who made that time three times a week so much fun! To start the day with laughter like that is indeed the best medicine!!😊anyone starting with this company should understand that there are 2 divisions- a home care side and the home health side— they are different departments and it can be confusing. I know it I very

Wellcare is a very rewarding place to work. They listen to our issues and really take the time to make it better.. no place is perfect but do admire they acknowledge how they can improve and strive to make changes.. Shout out to the very knowledgeable wound manager Claudia who I’ve learned so much from as well as the education team-specifically Herb who are always available to help. I absolutely love my patients and this is the most rewarding job I’ve ever had.. been here going on 2 years now with no desire to work for another company! 5 stars all the way!!!!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

These guys couldn't organize a one car funeral. My services were cut off without notice twice. It took them two weeks to get a badly needed hospital bed delivered. The workers who came to our home are capable but their boss should be fired. There are better companies to deal with in the area. Ask your doctor to not use this company.

The absolute worst home health agency I have ever had the DIS pleasure of dealing with. They are lazy and understaffed. Anytime we needed the on call nurse they would tell us that they were too busy and that we should just go to the ER because they did not have time to come help my mother. They are a terrible agency!!! My mothers services were cut off twice without any notice. If you want good service I would not recommend Well Care. I wish it was possible to give them zero stars, but I guess one will have to do.
