When Dramm & Echter put down roots in Encinitas, California, more than four decades ago, it wasn't just flowers that flourished in the fertile soil and sunny coastal weather, but a family business with a passion for farming. The founding partners, Jim Echter and Gene Dramm, began farming in Encinitas in the mid 1960's.
By 1972 a formal partnership was formed and they began shipping California grown flowers as 'Dramm & Echter' across the nation. While many things on the farm have changed over the years, one thing stays the same- our dedication to producing high-quality flowers for wholesalers, florists, and mass market retailers nationwide.

They only hire illegals here. The workers all come in on bikes because they don't have a driver's license but they don't mind getting paid minimum wage. All that money the company makes and you get paid minimum to work with pesticides. Good luck to anyone planning on working here. Maybe a summer job or unless you are in the office.

Wonderful local flower grower. They grow Gerber Daisies, Spray and Long stem roses, Asiatic and Oreintal Lilies, and Succulents. They have over 20,000 sq ft of cooler space of product. They offer a shopping cooler that shows all the products offered for sale for the current time of year. They also offer other products that are for the industry but not grown by them. So its easy to find what you need or like. This is typically a wholesale company but they do offer to the public with a purchase of $100 or more and pay the sales tax. They can offer products to make bouquets as well. No order can be
