In 1976, I-70 Auto Service, Inc., a Kansas City based family owned business, began as a gas and service station with three repair bays. In 1993 we grew and added to our existing building which more than doubled our size. In 1999 we decided to focus on auto repair and removed our fuel tanks. Today, we specialize in computer diagnostics and stay up-to-date with training and the latest in equipment to service today's vehicles.

Hi, I am Joe Sevart, owner and operator of I-70 Auto Service. We are a full service automotive repair shop located in Kansas City, MO just one mile west of Arrowhead Stadium. This year we are celebrating our 41 year anniversary. Since opening in 1976 we have committed ourselves to providing our customers with a service they can trust.

I was in town from Texas when my Chevy 2500HD diesel broke down. I called multiple repair shops but, none worked on diesel’s. Joe and his team were confident in knowing they could help me out. They recommend a tow service and provided me a quick rough estimate. This was my first experience using a repair shop as I don’t trust anyone to work on my vehicles. The communication far exceeded my expectations! The team provided me with a full inspection report of my truck as well. I had a couple special requests I wanted looked at prior to my trip back to Texas. These items were taken care of and

Joe was my service advisor and he was excellent and helpful at relaying information on my vehicle I brought in. I recently purchased a 2006 Land Rover Range Rover HSE, and I recommend this place to anyone that has also purchased a land rover and would like an alternative repair shop than the dealership. I brought her in to get her oils changed and a pre purchase inspection. They seem to stay busy so be patient it's worth it.

#1 shop in the entire KC area! Can't say enough good things about this place. Joe and Tyler are fantastic people and are also great to work for! The difference is that they care about you, and help you get You back on the road. These people here have a outstanding work ethic you will not find at any other shop in the world. They always get the job done right, and keep you informed with their vast knowledge of automobiles, and can teach you a thing or two! These guys are awesome. They are professional, knowledgeable, and 100% customer service oriented. I took my Land Rover to them because they work on imports. I'm so glad I did. They went above and beyond to troubleshoot the issue and when they didnt have the equipment needed to diagnose my British model, guess what? They purchased the equipment they needed! Not a small investment either. They are fair and reasonable and are straight shooters!That is rare these days! I won't ever take my auto's anywhere else! I booked my appt for my Ford F-150 too! These guys are awesome. The do the work right. They are good at explaining what needs to be done and what can wait. Took both my cars here to get them fixed. The dealer did a terrible job working on our Mini Cooper and these guys fixed it the right way. They also worked our Santa Fe. Will definitely be coming back.
