On small children as well as non-speaking adults, we use special eye drops called cyclogyl which primarily paralyzes the focusing muscles of the eye and secondarily dilates the pupil. By eliminating focusing temporarily, we can use a retinoscope to look into the eye and determine the correct prescription.

The office staff is amazing! My son is autistic and suffered from headaches and they've gone above and beyond to help find out the source and to accommodate him and make him as comfortable as possible with all the different tests! I hands down would trust these wonderful ladies with any of my children, and we are so grateful they have been as amazing as they are!

My visit with Dr. Bohlman today was like all other visits...just wonderful! For 20 years Dr. Bohlman has ensured that my eye health is the best it can be. She is professional, thorough, attentive, and devoted to giving her patients the best care possible. She loves what she does and it shows in everything she does. She is absolutely the BEST!

I cannot recommend Dr. Bohlman enough! She was absolutely amazing! My son LOVED her! She made us feel as if we were her only appointment that day! She took her time and I felt like she thoroughly examined my son giving me such a piece of mind! We will absolutely be going to her for all our optometry needs!

Excellent service! This was my first time here. I was quite pleased with my experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The doctor was thorough in examining my eyes, informative, and answered all my questions. Not once did I feel I was being rushed through my visit. I will definitely return when the need arises.

Awesome experience and customer service. I called to get some new glasses as my current ones got broken by my dog. They had a cancellation that morning and was able to get me in that same morning. I've been to a lot of eye doctors and this is the best experience I've had ever! From the office staff to the doctors everyone was very welcoming and cool. Looking forward to getting all my eye needs here!
