Jalpa Dance Academy was initially established in 2011 in Chicago southwest suburbs for all the dancers to find the best in them no matter what their age and experience is. The academy moved to Georgia in 2016 with the same vision. We believe in providing quality dance education to our students to become a perfect dancer.

I can't say enough good things about this dance academy, the director (Jalpa). Jalpa manages the rare feat of doing two things incredibly well; it is both a very warm, welcoming, friendly dance academy and also an incredible training facility for bollywood and bharatnatyam dances. Jalpa is very supportive and attentive to all the kids, regardless of their level. They keep a careful eye on who needs what kind of work and suggest classes accordingly. It's remarkable how well she knows each kid, and everything they are dealing with both in and out of dance.

Jalpa is a very talented dancer and an attentive teacher who is running her academy in a professional manner. She is dedicated and very hands on and takes each class seriously, whether teaching children or adults. She maintains a good balance of discipline and encouragement, enabling students to make the most of their training. Jalpa is a extremely dedicated dance teacher. She skillfully interacts with girls and boys of all ages and makes them comfortable with the dance moves. She is the only teacher in town offering adult bharatnatyam classes and she teaches adult classes very well too. She is easy to work with, firm when needed, passionate about her work, intelligent and overall a genuine and good human being.
