We are trained not only as midwives, but as naturopathic physicians, which broadens the scope of care that you will experience from pregnancy and birth to complete natural family healthcare. We are able to see you from preconception all the way through newborn, pediatric care, and as adults. Our training makes us the most extensively trained experts in natural medicine during the childbearing years.
Dr. Cassandra Hurd is a solo midwife providing out-of-hospital birth for low-risk, healthy women. The areas she serves includes Arlington, Snohomish, Everett, Monroe, Woodinville, Sultan, Bothell, Bellevue, and north Seattle areas. Being a solo midwife, you will receive personalized care throughout your pregnancy, birth and postpartum that is seamless.
We are offering lactation consulting with Shannon Demiter who is a certified IBCLC. Shannon can help if you are having any breastfeeding difficulties. She can help to diagnose breastfeeding issues whether it's related to mother, baby or both.
At Origins Natural Health and Midwifery, she is able to work closely with Dr. Hurd and Dr. Jones to provide comprehensive care such as treating thyroid issues, low milk supply or tongue/lip-ties with frenotomies, if necessary.

After making your initial appointment, you will receive an email link to set up an account with Patient Ally to complete your intake documents. Payment is due at the time of service. The cost of a visit varies based on the complexity and/or time involved. Please call the office with specific questions.
