Life would have been so much more difficult without Peter Herbst. He came highly-recommended from a friend of a friend. My family and I were facing a difficult estate issue when we came to the realization that our 93-year-old mother had to leave the family home to go into a nursing home. Peter’s advice was perfect. He suggested that we rent out the home to help to pay for the nursing home costs; something that I would have never considered. This allowed us to clean out the home, and make necessary renovations. The logistics behind all of this were complicated, but Peter was there every step of

We went to Peter for our end of life planning, and went into the process not knowing much about it. He was very thorough, and helped us come up with a great plan for our will, trust, health care concerns and more! He is very kind and considerate and will explain any questions you have. I would recommend anyone doing this style of planning to consult Peter.

I found Peter Herbst via AVVO when I did a search looking for a new trust attorney. I was looking to revamp my outdated trust documents and make some changes and had no clue where to start. I find it all confusing. From the first email inquiry to the final doc signing, Peter and his assistant Kristie did not miss a thing. Peter's pricing was very affordable without sacrificing quality of service one bit. He is very knowledgeable in his field and was thoughtful and understanding of my situation. He is also very mindful taking time to listen to my concerns and offered some great insight and

Finding the right lawyer to do your estate plan is not a fun/easy task. After other consult meetings left us confused and disappointed, as my husband and I let Peter's office we looked at each other and said, "we're hiring Peter". We met with Peter numerous times, asking many questions and even to review matters previously discussed. Very reasonably priced for his services, (and a flat fee), Peter expertly guided us through the process. Our estate plan required the establishment of a trust and when we described our somewhat non-traditional wishes, Peter came up with a specific

I initially found Peter because my husband and I wanted to make sure our baby was taken care of if anything happened to us. He was very responsive and after a free initial consult, we decided to work with him to create our wills, establish guardianship, healthy care proxies, etc. He has kids of his own and many years of experience so he knows the "why" for a lot of little details that we certainly would not have known (and someone with less experience probably would not know either). For example, I appreciate that he can say "It needs to be worded this way because there was a case

My husband and I were referred to Peter through our financial advisor as we needed to have a will written. We had not gone through this process before and were not sure what to expect. Peter made the process very clear and very easy. He spent as much time as we needed to sit and discuss each aspect of the document. He also allowed us as much time as we needed after sending us the drafts to look over them, ask additional questions, and make any changes before we signed any final paperwork. He helped make the documents easy to understand and the process straightforward. I would highly recommend

I went to Peter Herbst's office for will planning. I'd just bought my first house and wanted to make arrangements for my estate after I passed. Being it was my first time making a will, and not aware of many of the rules and laws in Massachusetts, I had a million questions about the process and the "lingo". Peter was easy to talk to and explained everything with such ease and patience. I highly recommend using him for will planning! So glad all my hard work and money will be going to the people whom I want it to go to, rather than tied up in the courts, after I pass.

In preparation for our first child, my partner and I met with Peter Herbst to set up our will.
The office was very spacious and neat; his staff was professional and courteous in welcoming us.
With one month left before our due date, Peter walked us through- step by step- all the necessary- albeit not always fun- paperwork. Peter explained every document with clarity and a practical example of how a situation may or may not play out.
Peter organized our Living Will, Medical Proxies, Power of attorney and other key documents to ensure our wishes would be carried out smoothly and without putting
