Services
Since 1982, the Brain Injury Alliance of Washington (BIAWA) has grown substantially, making gainful strides towards offering a complete, robust set of services and resources for individuals living with Brain Injury across Washington State. We are dedicated to empowering brain injury survivors and their families to transition from hospital to home and from home to community through involvement, resources, education, and advocacy.
If you have a passion for helping those who have suffered a head injury, we would love to hear from you. We can always use help from friends, family and the community. We would love to hear from you. We have several young adult and college aged head injury survivors that are very active in organizing social events and community building exercises.
The BIAWA provides assistance in locating local resources for survivors and caregivers dealing with brain injuries. We will put you in contact with our resource coordinator. The Brain Injury Brunch Club is a peer support group based in Spokane, Washington. The purpose of the group is to foster peer relationships and improve social skills for individuals living with a brain injury.
