Aging Better In-Home Care
Serving the five counties of North Idaho and the Spokane Metro Area in Spokane and Stevens counties!. Virtually all individuals say that they prefer to stay in their own homes as they age and, if disabled, stay as independent as possible while in their own place. We are dedicated to supporting children, adults, frail seniors and the disabled to live safely at home with independence, comfort and dignity.

AAging Better offers an important alternative to extended stays in the hospital, or being placed in an assisted living facility, nursing home, or other pediatric or adult care situation. Our experienced nurses, nurse's aides (NACs/CNAs), home health aides and caregivers provide comprehesive care in the home at some of the most affordable rates offered in North Idaho and the greater Spokane Metro Area.
Services
AAging Better In-Home Care began business in 1997 as Alternative Health Care, serving Kootenai County in North Idaho. The founders, Bruce and Charlene Weaver, established the main office in Post Falls to serve all of North Idaho. A second office was opened in Sandpoint in 2005 to meet the growing needs of that area and a third office was opened in Spokane Valley in 2017 to serve the greater Spokane Metro Area and surrounding counties.
AAging Better In-Home Care offers an extensive variety of in-home services to clients throughout North Idaho, the Spokane Metro Area and the surrounding counties. The main office located in Post Falls serves all cities and towns located in Kootenai, Shoshone and Benewah counties.

The Sandpoint office covers all towns located in the Bonner and Boundary counties and our Spokane Valley office serves all towns and communities in Spokane, Stevens, Pend Oreille and Ferry counties.Services are available (with a 2-hour minimum) seven days per week, including all holidays. Around-the-clock, 24-hour care is available at a reduced rate (certain requirements apply).
Depending on the amount of hours of care needed each day, the average in-home service runs from to that of Assisted Living Facilities or Nursing Homes (costs will vary depending on the amount of hours being covered). And our cost-per-hour charge is highly competitive when compared to other in-home care agencies in each area.
You see it when their faces light up as you walk into the room. The way they look forward to your company and your smile as you come on duty. Suddenly, they take a renewed interest in activities they were once able to do on their own but now need your help to accomplish. The appreciation they show you is obvious and best of all, you can feel the difference in yourself as you assist individuals in need.
At AAging Better In-Home Care we hire RN's and LPN's throughout the five Northern Counties of Idaho. These positions range in availability from part-time to full-time, days or nights. A background in pediatric home care is a plus but training for new graduates is offered. Salary is dependent on experience and we offer very competitive benefit package for full-time staff.

Worked for this company for over a year. At first they were accommodating especially when Corona virus hit. However, since they fired most of the office staff(or people quit) 6 months ago this company has gone downhill fast. They do not train caregivers or support them. Very poor communication. And don't count on them keeping you safe at work,or to help you when you're injured on the job.
