I'll preface this by saying I had a bad experience with one dentist, my son had a great experience with the other dentist, and they tried to resolve my issues professionally - hence 3 starts instead of just 1.
This office seems to be run by a husband and wife team. The male Dr. Sapir sees children and the female Dr. Sapir sees adults. My son had a great experience with the male Dr. Sapir. He screamed while getting his teeth brushed, but I think that was typical for 1 year olds. I had a horrible experience with the female Dr. Sapir. I'm someone who has always loved going to the dentist and jokingly

My 4 year old gets a lot of anxiety at doctor/dental offices. Dr. Sapir and his staff made him feel comfortable, safe, and so happy to the point that at his first appointment, he didn't want to leave! Most recently, my son had to undergo some extensive treatment + be put under anesthesia and I cannot thank Dr. Sapir and his team for making a very nerve-wracking/stressful experience (for both us + my son), quite the opposite. I am so glad we were referred to Norfolk Family & Pediatric Dentistry. With no hesitation we would give this office a 10/10-- highly recommend.

My son needed extensive work on his teeth. I had 4 consultations in the past that all left me not feeling heard. So I started searching for a new dentist that would listen to my concerns and preferences and I found Dr. Sapir at Norfolk Family & Pediatric dentistry and I am so happy I did! As soon as you walk into the office there is a comfy place to sit and there is toys under the seats for kids to play with! Immediately all the anxiety my kid usually has at the dentist disappeared because this didn’t seem like the normal boring ‘sit still and wait for your turn’ type of office, this office

After a few other consults, we were referred to Norfolk Pediatric Dentistry for my 3 year old who needed somewhat invasive work. Dr. Sapir was absolutely amazing, made her feel comfortable from the beginning and her treatment plan went better than we could've imagined. It went so well that after years of not seeing a dentist due to a severe phobia, I decided to give it a shot with his wife, Dr. Mindy. We're about halfway through my treatment plan and this was the best decision I ever made. Give them a try, you won't regret it!!! They offer sedation dentistry for chickens like myself

I took my daughter for an emergency appointment and they were so generous to squeeze us in that evening. My daughter left with a huge smile and a balloon animal. They managed to fit us in the next day to treat the issue quickly. Dr. Sapir had the best bedside manner, talking my daughter through each step at an age appropriate level. He eased her fears, made her laugh and it was the best dentist app we’ve ever had. I’m switching all of my kids to this office after the wonderful experience we’ve had. I cannot say enough amazing things about this office. The balloon animals are the biggest hit

I recently had my orthodontic treatment here (braces, implant, the whole deal, etc.) and it had been an amazing experience; basically changed the way I look haha. Both Dr. Sapir and the entire staff are very welcoming and caring. So glad to have chosen them in my ortho journey :) Highly recommended!!

I have been with this Norfolk Husband and Wife Family for a number of years and have nothing but flawless experiences. Kind, thorough and organized! My children are fans too and have never shed one tear!

Forever customer!! I saw Dr. Minda for the first time earlier this year. (Yes, this post is LONG overdue!) After a cleaning and an in-office whitening process, I scheduled for additional work I was considering, being concerned about photos in an upcoming wedding. When I showed up for the second appointment, I was unsure if I wanted to go through with it. Dr. Minda spent time with me discussing options (including doing nothing,) and even took pictures to assure me that I would look perfectly fine without the process. I have nothing but great things to say about all of the doctors and staff here. They are always so welcoming and friendly. My son has autism and had to have anesthesia for the first time but they made us feel so safe and reassured. Can not highly recommend them more, especially to other special needs parents. There is really no better office out there! My son LOVES going to the dentist now!

I was extremely anxious prior to getting my root canal. I’ve always heard horror stories about how painful they are. I am still shocked at how easy and pain free the whole procedure was. Dr. Mindy did an incredible job. She was so patient and understanding with the anxiety I was having. She took the time to explain what was happening if I had a question, and over all really made the experience as pleasant as possible. I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment! The dental assistant Ashley, was also so sweet. Her kind personality really made me feel at ease in a high anxiety situation
