We really used to like hearth pizzeria and the food here is top quality. However I went yesterday with kids and had a really bad dine in experience. I think the place has shifted focus entirely to takeout only. There was one uninterested server for the whole place (about 40 ppl) on a Saturday evening. Took forever to place the order, no one ever checked back how things are or to offer water refills. I placed an additional order which never got placed in the system until I checked (+20mins). Then it got placed incorrectly and had to be redone (+25 mins). About 45 mins for a kids pasta with tomato

Unfortunately, I have to give a two star review. While picking up our dinner, I went to review our order with the cashier. (I wanted to double check the order to make sure it was correct due to allergies) While the cashier was reviewing the order with me, the manager interrupted her and and seemed quite frustrated. He seemed upset that I was questioning the order. Although I explained to him why, he seemed flustered and aggravated. I felt badly for her and myself and will not be returning. Everyone has a bad day, but this was insulting!

Nice pizzeria with great beer selection, pizza options, and good wings that has outside seating.
The outdoor patio in the back isn't much, but it works well. There's ample space heaters for the fall/winter. It's fairly well shielded for windy days, too.
Service is very good. The manager/owner was very helpful and one of our waiters the other weekend. We came with kids and they were accommodating and easy-going. Masks on everyone all the time, good spacing on the inside for people picking up, and clear signs everywhere.
The pizza options were great. We got the white bean pizza

OK pizza, asked for extra sauce and ordered many different toppings and got skimped on both with light sauce and light toppings. Pretty disappointing for a custom pizza but was tasty. Would give it 4 stars if they actually gave a decent portion of toppings. I ordered 5 different toppings and got one of each topping....

Hearth has completely turned around and I'm glad! The food was always great but there was a dip in service there for a minute. They've redecorated, got a great new waitstaff, and seem to be bustling. I'm very happy they pulled it together.
A great pizza and a great night out. Note that they do really cater to children, so expect a bunch of kids!

We've gone to Hearth numerous times - sometimes just as our family, sometimes with friends or grandparents, a few times for birthday parties.
The service is always good - the servers are very nice & accommodating; the food is yummy and consistent - it's always the same, which we like, especially when you've got little ones. The kids' menu isn't the most amazing deal - the pizza is basically the same price as a small pizza, but it does come with ice cream and a drink. Again - I wish ALL kid menus would give a veggie with every dish, but that's for every restaurant

I work in Needham and had never tried this restaurant. I had to work late and wanted to bring pizza home. I called early because I knew work was going to get crazy. I asked for them to make it to be picked up at 5:30. When the girl confirmed all the info with me she said "and to be picked up at 5:00." I corrected her, she apologized and then I hung up and went about the rest of my work day.
I went in at 5:15 expecting fully that I would have to wait. Lo and behold my order was ready? I paid (a lot) with tip and left. I thought the boxes felt cold. I asked the girl if they were made

There seems to be an abundance of great eatery's in Needham and Hearth Pizzeria is one of them. We had a quick lunch here Thursday afternoon, the place was busy but not packed so we got a table right away.
Hearth is clean and trendy with tasteful decor with a big stone looking pizza oven behind a prep counter.
The server/hostess was delightful, very friendly and efficient and as mentioned, seated upon entry.

We tried to order for delivery. Get a call saying that it'd be at least 1.5 hours due to how busy they were. Opted to cancel delivery and reorder for pick up. Get another call from them about the order but she was getting the delivery versus pick up order confused. The $10 wings were 7 total small chicken wings and drumsticks - but at least you can taste the buffalo flavors so there's that. The small cheese pizza is almost comical how small it is... It's a kid size pizza for $9.50 which is ridiculous (see photo). Sad because this is the first place I've found in the area that

Nice, cheery pizza place with a nice dining room. There are a few street spots in the front; otherwise, there is a shared public lot in the back (with the CVS). I didn't feel like eating pizza that day, and so ordered the steak tips flatbread sandwich. Service was a little slow on a weeknight, but otherwise okay. We enjoyed the live music on Thursday night 6-8pm.

I think the pizza and other food is fantastic. I, however, am very disappointed with getting my food when ordered for delivery. I have been ordering from hearth (and the old hearth) for quite sometime. My last few orders have either arrived horribly late, not at all, or wrong. I am still waiting for an order that I placed at 6:10 pm. It was estimated to arrive at 7:45-7:55 pm. I called at 8 pm to be told it would be here soon. It’s not, and it’s almost 8:30 pm.
