After many years of pondering about having their own store front so that they can bake their fine French breads and pastries for all to enjoy, their dream has come true! They are also excited to offer meals that are healthy and delicious to their many fans. What some people don't know, is that Ludovic lost his brother to a massive heart attack in 2011.

It’s called serendipity. Riches from an unlikely source. In search of a decent baguette in Dover for some soup that I ordered, google directed me to La Baguette an hour before their closing time. I wasn’t hopeful that anything would be left let alone lose myself In a genuine French boulangerie/patisserie in downtown Dover. Owned by a married couple, they could not have been kinder and more genuine. I ate half of one baguette in my jeep on the way home and felt transported back to Paris, Aix, Bordeaux, Marseilles… Check this place out!!!

This establishment is set back and can be easily missed when traveling. We decided to check out this bakery. There is limited parking. Most of the customers had to park their vehicles on the street. As you walk into the bakery, you find yourself surrounded with delightful treats. There is a blend of homemade Diner pastries to classic European delights.
The only complaint we have is that we arrived late in the day and appears half their pasties were sold out. We decided to try one of their cheesecake danish. Some cheesecake danishes come with a gooey fruit topping - but we went with the plain.

I don't know French but I do know good food and this place is packed with it.
As you walk up to the door you are welcomed with the most pleasant and delicious smells. Your taste buds will thank you for eating here.
Not to mention happy employees greeting you with smiling eyes and kind words 😊.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND for breakfast, lunch, and catering.

The most authentic French bakery just walking into this small shop you feel like you are on a country side in Paris. The cruffins are unique and always changing with the seasons, the bread is always fresh, and the service is always amazing chef Ludavic and Anita will treat you like family and always leave you with a smile.

Lovely ❤️ Such a friendly staff, warm atmosphere and delicious food! I highly recommend the parisien chicken croissant sandwich, and literally anything from the bakery case. Though, I am partial to the chocolate chip cookies 😉 Gets a little busy at lunch, but very worth the wait for the freshly made on site food with no preservatives.

I love this bakery! I have been here several times for their cream of mushroom soup, great with a fromage roll. I have also enjoyed their cruffins. They have a different flavor every day and they are so flaky and delicious! I heat mine up in the microwave for a few seconds. Their sandwiches and crepes are also great. A must try in dover!
