What is Yoga? There is no one answer to this question. Whatever search has led you to yoga is an invitation for you to define what Yoga is to you, however, yoga is often referred to as "integration, yoke, wholeness", it is the only health system that combines, mind, body and spirit to work in unison.
When you arrive to the studio. Inform the instructor if you are pregnant, injured, or have any special needs so that we can give you the modifications needed for a safe practice. Please be silent when you enter the yoga room. We want to maintain a peaceful space honoring silence before, during and after practice.
The Baptiste Yoga practice and programs are designed to empower you with the focus, training and insight you need to achieve consistent profound results in the most important areas of your life. Yoga Therapy is a Restorative based class that provides movement, breathing and meditation to quickly recharge you for the afternoon.
The Above and Beyond Salt Room optimizes proven therapeutic benefits by using a clinically proven dry salt therapy. Our standards require 99.99% pharmaceutical grade sodium chloride (salt) to be heated evaporating all moisture and maximizing the salt's bactericide, mucokinetic, hydrophilic and anti-inflammatory properties.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Mobile, Alabama several times since 2016 and always take Shoshana's yoga classes every day while I am there. Her classes are wonderful, especially her Power Yoga. On each visit, I see her beautiful studio continue to evolve and on this last trip, I now had the pleasure to use the Salt Therapy room, which was so relaxing especially having just been on a long plane ride. I don't think I ever breathed so deep and so calmly after the treatments and that cleasing feeling lasted for hours after.

Above and Beyond Hot Yoga is a delightful daily retreat! I have been attending classes and using the salt room for almost a year. My yoga experience prior to joining this studio was minimal. The classes and teachers are absolutely wonderful: The hot yoga classes are detoxifying and strengthening, and the gentle yoga classes are restorative and renewing. The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, and have extensive training and experience. Since beginning classes at the studio, I’ve dropped 5 dress sizes. I turned 40 a few months ago, but regular salt sessions keep my skin firm

This is by far the best yoga studio in the Mobile Bay area! The owners are incredible, the staff are knowledgeable and the studio is like no other! The name of the studio says it all. More than just a yoga studio, Above and Beyond Yoga and Salt Therapy is a community. It brings together people of all ages and backgrounds with the common goal of bettering the mind, body, and spirit through a wide variety of yoga classes for all levels (in person and via Zoom!) The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the yoga instructors cater the class to meet the needs of its participants. In my 2+ years as a member here, I have never done the same exact class twice. The diversity and authenticity of the classes and the high quality of the instructors

My absolute favorite yoga studio. Above and Beyond: Yoga and Salt Therapy has the most inviting atmosphere. Everyone is kind and friendly and the studio is kept very clean. My favorite class is Yin, where the teacher guides you through a variety of deep stretches that you hold as well as a deep breathing meditation. They also offer Hot Yoga which is such a refreshing workout. I have done the Salt Room and it cleared up my allergies and kept me feeling save from getting sick from any viruses. I would recommend this studio to everyone I know.

Above and beyond yoga is the most beautiful studio I’ve ever encountered. I enjoy the salt therapy cave and have never felt more energetic and at peace. The level of education these instructors have is bar none the best in the business. What is especially important to me is the cleanliness and the wonderful smell in their space. No foul odors and a system that is by far the most sophisticated in the industry. I’d give 10 stars if I could!
