Our stone pros specialize in polishing, repair, sealing, cleaning and renovation of marble, granite, terrazzo and other natural stone tile and solid surfaces. Our company has been restoring and maintaining marble and natural stone since 2003. Micro honing removes a layer of stone starting at 1/132 to remove damage and can go progressively deeper as is required then preparing a fresh, polishable surface.
The surface is then polished and finished to the owners' preference. Depending on the damage, a stone care pro will start with a coarse diamond and move on to a finer, finer and finer grit until a surface is perfectly smooth and prepared for a final finish. The process is akin to sanding down wood with sandpaper.

From the start my experience with Boston Stone Restoration has been incredible. The communication with Joni and Melissa at the office has always been pleasant, professional and helpful. There were two Covid scares (one on our end and one on theirs) that we had to work around in scheduling and Joni was great to communicate about that with. Paul was prompt, informative and honest at our site visit. We were proposing to do a fireplace in addition to the countertops and instead of upwelling, he was honest that in our circumstance the best choice was to not do the fireplace. They were able to get us

Boston Stone Restoration honed and sealed my bluestone entryway and mudroom. After 20 years of heavy foot traffic, the area now looks like new and I couldn't be happier! Paul & Melissa's crew was competent, professional and efficient. They protected the area before the job and left no trace on our new paint job. I highly recommend Boston Stone and trust these professionals to do a great job!

Boston Stone Restoration just finished a job at my house yesterday. The original work I wanted would’ve been too expensive, so the owner separated the job. He wrote a reduced estimate (final price was the same as estimate) based on one counter at a time instead all four counters at once. His staff finished the first counter yesterday, and it looks brand new. I was so frustrated with my honed marble because it shows every single mark from cooking & absorbs any liquid it comes across, it’s fragile stone for a kitchen. After coming home yesterday and seeing the island counter restored, I was overjoyed

Boston Stone Restoration did a wonderful job refurbishing my marble floor. A few tiles had cracked, so I reached out to them. Melissa was great and got me on the schedule quickly. Paul, the owner, came to take a look and provided a clear cut estimate about the work that would be done.
My floor was a tough one to work with and Paul worked with me to set my expectations and then his team surpassed them with the final result. I will definitely work with them again.
