Nice place to take the family for free kid fish on fourth of july. The city of onalaska didnt have shuttles running on time, they were 45 mins late so we walked here. The was water is too shallow to catch anything big for a kid but was really pretty, we measured 3ft of water. But our kids had fun and that's all that mattered.

MUST READ ...moved an rv there for a few months & this place is disgusting, there is absolutely maintenance done to roads or buildings ,alot of long term vagrants living there .The place has had a very bad reputation for years for fighting in the bar every weekend, drug trafficking.
The so called management are a joke due to they lie and have no integrity.
So due yourself a favor and avoid this place.

We was offered to stay at a friend's camper there while our new home was being built. Well one month into it the manager became this slandering, discriminating woman. We was told to leave without any reason. I guess we was too young for the older locals woh they let trash the place. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Not a fake post. You need to deal with your out of line manager. Treat your paying customer with more respect.

MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OKAY guys I'm not one to complain and I don't need much to have fun. BUT our room was horrible. We had to buy cleaning supplies to clean the bath tub and even then there was no warm water. The sheets were stained and dirty from the people before us, the floors were covered in dirt and we couldn't walk barefoot. The permanent residents here were so rude, ganged up on us and we called the police due to people hauling butt down the streets they laughed and we're trying to aggravate us to arrest us then start hanging out with the residents that were their friends. I truly enjoyed my weekend here. It was quiet and peaceful. We caught several big blue catfish off the bank and threw them back. The hospitality shown by the front desk was amazing. She is very welcoming. The rooms are huge. The televisions are old but you spend most of your day on the lake anyways. Nice place for couples. I wish the pontoon bar was open because we would have loved to play pool. Overall a wonderful experience.

This lodge is located right on the water and has its own boat ramp. I rented it for the weekend and even rented the boat slip also. Room was very clean and spacious. The ladies that work the front desk are very nice and courteous. The fishing pier is very big with room for multiple to fish. I will definitely be returning for another stay.
