Dr. Alison J. Garten is a Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and Certified Pedorthist. She serves as a member of the North Carolina Board of Podiatry, as well as President of the American Association for Women Podiatrists. Dr. Garten often lectures on topics related to the foot and ankle, as well as diabetic wound care.

Dr. Garten is a caring and knowledgeable doctor. She takes time to listen, answers all your questions, and gives advice only based on the best course of action for each patient. She creates a relaxed atmosphere making you feel at ease and comfortable, to speak about your medical problem and preventative care. I highly recommend her.

Although it wasn't anything serious, the unprompted soreness of my right ankle made me drive to South Charlotte to see Dr. Garten and her team. Throughout the course of my visit, Dr. Garten and her staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable through the appointment.
Check-in was a breeze, even for someone like me who is a new patient. Dr. Garten's nurses were also very sharp. Dr. Garten herself was a pleasure.
