Service 1 Marine was founded in 1999 by Bob Stratton, a younger, but experienced marine mechanic/salesman/entrepreneur who was determined to open up a low cost, high quality, marine storage facility that would cater to the ever-so-growing Chicago population in New Buffalo, MI. Having 12 years experience behind him at two local marinas, Service 1 Marine opened up in July of 1999.
Price Includes: Haul out, Transportation, Blocking, Jack stands, Power Washing Bottom, Complete Winterization, Shrink Wrap, Storage, Launch in the Spring. Your boat will be delivered Turn Key in the water in the Spring. This agreement pertains to the fall and winter storage.
Space in our facility is to be used at the sole risk of the boat owner and assumes total responsibility for casualty or loss and waived the subrogation rights of its insurance carriers.Service 1 Marine is not responsible for boat's content or equipment. Boat owner is to remove or secure any valuable possessions.

Had an issue previously with a worker who hit my car but Bob took care of it! The guy didn’t actually really work there was just borrowing a truck and no longer is there because of that. Bob was super nice and handled the situation professionally, He cares about his work and business and was shocked at what happened. But I recommend service one and Bob he’s a super nice guy like I said handled everything really well and took care of it all! Thank you Bob!

Bob and Robbie are top notch, along with the rest of the Service 1 Marine crew. We live out of state and the Service 1 team has made it easy to buy, store, and service a boat with them. We can't say enough good things about this business: family owned, friendly service, knowledgeable staff, and above all just a nice group of honest, hardworking people. Highly recommend Service 1 for your boat storage and service. If only they opened a location in Detroit! :)
