If you are in the market for quality medical supplies or oxygen equipment, it can be a real challenge to find the items you are looking for from a reputable local source. Sure, it is easy to get on Google and type in the words "medical supplies near me." This will surely give you a nice long list of search results, yet how are you to know which company is the best one for you?
Like your cell phone or your refrigerator, your new or refurbished portable oxygen concentrator [POC] will soon become part of your everyday life. You've spent a lot of money on it and want to get the best out of your investment. In order to do so, you must regularly maintain your portable oxygen concentrator as you would your vehicle.
The F&P myAIRVO 2 has been designed specifically to be a solution for delivering the benefits of humidification and flow to patients in the home and in long-term care. Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's leading humidification technology allows the myAIRVO 2 to comfortably provide high flows of air/oxygen mixtures to spontaneously breathing patients, through the unique Optiflow nasal cannula interface or tracheostomy interfaces available.
If you are undergoing respiratory therapy for asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema, or any other chronic obstructive pulmonary disease [COPD], your doctor may have recommended that you receive breathing treatments by using a high-flow nasal cannulas system [HFNC]. Consequently, the conventional low-flow systems do the job, but not without complications.
