Lake Hill Winery was founded in 2010 by Craig and Anita Wear. The first thought of a winery business was planted in Craig's head while on rotation for pharmacy school in Southeast Australia in 2003. He didn't even like wine at the time, but was intrigued by the winemaking process and the beautiful vineyards.

Services
Norton is our Dry Red wine that has been aged in 100% American Oak Barrels. The oak flavor is apparent in this wine but there are additional subtle splashes of plum and vanilla. Chardonel A hybrid of Chardonnay and Seval Blanc with a smoothness like no-other that has accents of vanilla with a citrus finish.

Attended a wedding and reception.
Truly amazed by the beautiful view from the alter over looking the water. The staff was very professional and courteous. Enormous ballroom with more than enough space. Obviously the bar was fully stocked with a wonderful variety of wines and beer and the food was excellent. The venue itself had a rustic homey feel on the outside and elegance in the main reception area. I would definitely recommend this place for small gathering too large wedding parties. Can't wait to return for wine tasting.

I came here with my wife, sister and her boyfriend for my sister's birthday. We enjoyed some delicious wines and ordered a few bottles to go. My favorite was the Vishnu Springs and the bartender told us the story behind it. Very cool. The others really liked the Hogwash wine and a few other names that escape me. Good atmosphere for a meetup, converation with old friends, or even as a venue for weddings!

I attended a live band performance on St Patrick's Day. While dancing with my sisters, I was sexually harassed by a patron. When I approached management asking for help confronting the 6'5" nightmare of a human about his inappropriate behavior, the (male) manager said it was "my word against his," and then walked off. The wine also is just 90% variations on Moscato.

I went here as a guest at a wedding reception and it was... different. The location is beautiful - I can't fault it for that. However, the seating was a bit odd, as about half of the guests (myself included) had to sit in the "loft" section, with about 20 vertical feet of stairs to climb. This wasn't an issue for me personally, but the female guests trying to climb the stairs in high heels while carrying food from the (downstairs) buffet didn't look fun. The wine was terrible (overly sweet reds that smelled terrible) and the only dry white they made they were out of (with no warning to the hosts
