Called and worst service ever! Too bad we were looking for an agency to help 4 of our residents for 24 hour cases, and got referred, but whoever was on the phone totally made sure we aren't going to contact them again. One advice if you aren't happy with your business then I suggest you guys don't continue it. There is no business opening in Encino. We truly understand that you are upset with this review, but when we did call for service to help move 4 of our residents at a complex we own you and your staff were not very welcoming. Also beware this man makes harassing calls if you

This place is god sent , it gave me piece of mind when I found it , and most importantly my mother loves it and anything that makes her happy makes me happy! And it gives me such relief because she's not the easiest woman to please and if she doesn't find fault here I don't know who will. I highly recommend it for your aging loved ones. They offer the highest quality service and Jon and his team are top notch ! They truly have a compassionate , loving and professional staff.

We used this care company and the care givers that work for them during the time my mother was sadly going to through final stages of cancer and needed assistance at home when a family member was not there during daytime work hours. This worked out well as we just wanted her home for the last months rather than in a care facility surrounded by strangers. These situations are never easy and can be very emotional. I feel that Better Living worked with us to satisfy our specific needs, sent good care givers overall, and was respectful and courteous at the end when she finally passed away. We got

Both my elderly parents will be needing home care in the near future. I thought it would be a good idea to start searching an agency that would provide this service when needed. I didn't know where to start looking, so I asked friends in the neighborhood who had elderly parents with home care needs. They all suggested Better Living Home Care in Arcadia. I did, and the staff was prompt and attentive. They answered all my questions and I got a sense of ease and comfort knowing that my folks will be in good care when they need it!

I used Better Living for my father's care while he was home on hospice care. His daytime caregivers, Daisy and Lesby, were excellent. Lesby was there with us when my father passed and I couldn't have asked for a better caregiver to take care of him during his final days. The overnight caregivers were a different story. One actually told me to wake her up if she fell asleep. Needless to say, I found it necessary to set my alarm to wake myself up every 2 hours to give my dad his medication. My other major issue with the agency came after my father passed. I reached out to John several

My Mother, 97 years old, was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer earlier this year, and so my 2 sisters and I, needed a care giving service to help us with her care in the evenings from 10 PM to 6 AM. We contracted with Better Living Home Care to provide this service. Daisy and Julietta were assigned to be my Mom's caregivers, and to each, I give each of them 5 stars for their loving care they gave my Mom, over their few months of care they provided.
The problem with this agency is the owner John Donovan. Unfortunately you don't find out his true colors until the time perhaps it matters

After my mother spent 47 days in the hospital she couldn't walk and had to do physical therapy twice a week. My mother lives with me and I was very concerned how I was going to work two jobs and take care of her. My family is from another country and I had no one that could help me. I was even considering leaving one of my jobs to be her caretaker when talking to a nurse she told me about Better Living. Since I was never in this situation I had many MANY questions and the staff of Better Living were very helpful and professional. I've been working with Better Living now for a few months

My mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's and needed part time home care assistance several years ago. We made a somewhat random call from a list of providers given to us by a social worker at a hospital. After several calls, we made an appointment, scheduled the first worker and waited for that worker to show up. She was a no-show.
We immediately dropped that company and called another (Better Living Home Care).
For almost 4 years, my mother used the services of Better Living Home Care. During that time, she required the services of many full-time, in home caregivers. As her health declined
