Services
Cheshire Fitness Zone (CFZ) offers a multitude of therapeutic programs that uniquely meet you and your family's needs. CFZ was designed specifically for children and adolescents of all ages and abilities. We feature three main therapy areas to include physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT) and speech therapy (ST).
Movement is a critical component to enhancing a child's development and learning. Our goal is to improve a child's mobility through a variety of interventional strategies including but not limited to. Occupational therapists help children acquire or reacquire the skills needed to perform the activities - or "occupations" - of daily life.
Here at Cheshire Fitness Zone, we are staffed with therapists and administrative personnel who strive to meet every individual's needs that walks through our doors. Our Cheshire facility is our main location and is comprised of two levels of therapeutic space. The lower level features the physical therapy gym with rock climbing wall, numerous pieces of pediatric and adolescent cardio equipment, and a large open space for therapeutic activities. This level also has two private treatment rooms.
If you are looking for physical therapy for your child, then you've come to the right place. Our physical therapists treat children and adolescents of all ages and abilities. We are skilled at treating children with both acute and chronic injuries and disabilities, such as sports injuries, orthopedic impairments, autism, cerebral palsy, JRA, and developmental delays.

For the past 15 months, our son received speech therapy with Emily at CFZ and our experience was nothing short of incredible. Despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic, Emily was flexible, engaging, and encouraging throughout the entire process. Our son looked forward to seeing her each week and she was a familiar face that helped make things a bit more normal when they were most difficult. She always incorporated our son's interests into her activities which made sessions more fun for him. Her welcoming and supportive personality allowed for a trusting relationship as my son steadily improved

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cheshire Fitness Zone. I have had the fortune of working closely with Craig in a professional manner and his knowledge and skill level are extremely impressive. As a business owner myself, I appreciate and admire the way that the company is run and the way they conduct their business. My daughter had surgery on her foot and needed physical therapy. We saw Craig and he was amazing with her! This place is geared towards kids and the fact that Craig was knowledgeable, funny, and encouraging really helped to get her through the pain that she was experiencing. I highly recommend this facility!

We love the Orange Location. My son has been working with Miss Nicole and he enjoys his time with her so much. She is a wealth of knowledge and has assisted in great ideas for skills to use at home. She is truly invested in his wellbeing and we are so lucky to have found an OT who is so skilled and invested in her patients.

This is a great place for children with all kinds of needs. My son has autism and was non-verbal when he started. He also had food sensory problems. I can not believe the different kinds of therapies and the different techniques they use. They have great facilities, great gym and they have aqua therapy as well. I highly recommend them for all your child's therapy needs; physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, etc.

GREAT place for kids with special needs! I've been taking my daughter there for OT and PT for some time, and the therapists have been patient, helpful, and well-informed. They have numerous strategies for dealing with unique children and are responsive to family and the child's needs. Highly recommended.
