My friend and I were in Mobile for a wedding and decided to treat ourselves to a blowout with some soft curls, and we could not have stumbled upon a better salon! For starters they were more than accommodating on squeezing us in on a Saturday and keeping us on schedule for a 3pm wedding. We felt like true princesses while we were there, starting with our hair being washed to the final hairspray spritz. Our hairstyles lasted well into the following day while traveling home. It often feels a little too decadent to spend much on my thin, lifeless hair, but Marissa actually made it so much more enjoyable. She obviously knew what she was doing for both color (balayage) and cut, but she did it with a kind and down to earth spirit. The salon is small and modern, which could lead to a pretentious feel, but Marissa made me feel important and welcome. The price is in line with the level of service, and I am so happy with the finished result. I even made my next appointment while I was there.

Absolutely had the BEST time @salondartistes w/ Marissa & the other stylist! Not only did she give me a style & color that fits my personal tastes & lifestyle, but she completely transformed my previously fried strands of straw (aka 'hair') into super silk locks! It's been almost a week & I still can't stop running my hands through my hair! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If I can figure out how to upload a pic, I'll do it asap!

I haven't been this happy with my hair in a long time! Marissa did a great job in listening to exactly what I want done and making me comfortable throughout the whole experience. I told her the last girl that did my hair years ago butchered it so badly, I couldn't bring myself to go to a salon and she was very careful and kept checking with me to make sure I get exactly what I wanted. Her friendliness was a plus! I would most definitely come again whenever I am in town.

I love this place! I've been lucky enough to have Holly do my hair three times now. I'll keep going back because the experience there is so great. The salon is small, clean, and just feels luxurious and comfortable at the same time. The people there are so incredibly nice and every single one of them will not hesitate to do all they can to make you feel at ease.
