It is with heavy hearts that we are writing to inform you that after 41 years, San Francisco Auto Repair Center has permanently closed it's doors. The business climate in San Francisco has become increasingly hostile to small businesses, and with these challenging conditions, and skyrocketing rents, we are just not able to sustain our business.
We will be reaching out with recommendations for reputable shops where you can take your car for repair and maintenance shortly. Additionally, we will be able to provide you with records for your vehicle for the next few months. I've been coming to Gary and the SF Auto Repair crew for over 10 years, and have always been pleased with their work, customer service, and trustworthiness. I particularly appreciate the careful explanation I get upon picking up my car, so that I have a clear understanding of the work that was done and any follow-up or things for which to watch down the road.
