A Kids Entertainment Co. is a family owned and operated business specializing in kids entertainment and kids parties. Our goal is to completely satisfy both the children and the parents.

The Kids Train Report

We will show up 1/2hour before the time chosen. After payment is collected in full, we will then set up the train and or jumpers in said area and be in full character. We will do a full safety inspection of the train, and then we will load the riders and go over the simple, safety rules. During the ride we will be playing kid appropriate music.

Sad they do not serve the Peninsula even though customers will probably use them a lot more due to the tech company salaries. But oh well we didn't get to try them. Bummed we are too far out. Maybe they need to state which city they service in on the website to prevent high hopes.

I cannot day enough amazing things about patches!!! This was the second year in a row we had him at our daughters birthday and he was amazing! The kids loved the train and bubbles and patches! I appreciate that patches takes extra care to ensure the surprise. The train is set up out of sight and arrives at the front door fully assembled and ready to go! Patches was very accommodating, calm and kind! The kids loved it! Absolutely recommend him again and again!!

Tried to book his service for my little girl's 3rd Birthday Party. Received the following email response, "So sorry your location does not work for the kids train. Thanks ~Patches~". I obviously took a look at his website & all of the information I could review online before emailing him. On his website he clearly states that he serves the SF Bay Area, excluding the inner city of San Jose, SF & Oakland. Since I don't live in any of those cities & have quite a bit of open land on my property, as well as living at the end of an untraveled court, I was a bit confused

They were quick on responding to my email inquiry. However, I had hard time getting them to respond when I tried to confirm the booking based on a date they said they are available. Four emails and a voicemail later, I still have no reply from them. Not a good way to run a business.

Tried contacting several times over the course of over a week to see if he is available for my son's birthday party - emailed directly 3 times, emailed through their website, left a voicemail, and finally requested a quote through Yelp. Never heard back at all. Great way to run a business! At least let me know if you aren't available so I can find something else. So frustrating, and doesn't bode well for professionalism/reliability if you do end up renting with them.

We used The Kids Train and it was a huge hit. We had a large party and everyone rode the train several times. If you are having a train party, this will be perfect for it. My son had a blast and still talks about it!

You could hear Patches' whistle as he rounded the block. Party kids stopped what they were doing and yelled "the train is here! the train is here!". He was a hit for our son's 4th birthday.

Rides were fun, safe and efficient. We had 25 kids and their parents (and a few grandparents) -- all had a chance to ride. Each ride was about 10 - 15 minutes long.

The pictures do not do this train justice. It was so adorable!

Communication was easy (email), pricing was reasonable, and he showed up on time. Highly recommend this company! We had a blast!!

I hired the kids train last year and unfortunately he showed up so late, most of my party guests had already left. The kids did enjoy the train once he came, and he offered his services for free for showing up late (I still paid him $100 anyway). Would have been 5 stars if it had all run smoothly. Cute train and in the end the kids who were there still had fun.

The Kids Train was such a hit! Patches was so easy to work with. I was a little worried there was no official contract but Patches confirmed ahead of time and kept to the date and time set without any issues. It was such a magical moment for the kids when we saw and heard the train pull up in front of the house.
The train rides themselves were so fun and it was such a great surprise when bubbles started floating from the front of the train to the back. The kids were in awe and the adults had fun too! The neighbors started gathering and taking pictures and video too. It was a perfect activity for

We had Patches and The Kid's Train at my son's Choo Choo I'm Two birthday party. The kids loved it, the adults loved it, and everyone watching in the neighborhood loved it. Patches was great to work with, everything was easy, and the smile on my sons face made it worth every penny!!

Just perfect!! Phenomenal communication ahead of time, prompt email responses, arrived on-time, set up away from home, drove in and the kids were excited and jumping in joy... adults and kids included had a terrific time. The birthday boys wouldn't get out of the train for the entire hour. The bubbles made it extra special for them.

The neighborhood kids got to ride the train, the adults and the construction workers ran out to take pictures, everyone waved and had a fun time overall.

This past weekend we used Patches & his train for our son's 2nd Birthday which was Thomas themed. He was great & the kids were so excited to see the train pull up to our house.

Kids rushed in for their 5-10 minute ride around the neighborhood. They had a blast with the bubbles. We even had some big kids (adults) ride the train without their kids lol. my son rode the whole time, he couldn't get enough.

AWESOME! Patches and his train showed up on time and very excited to be at the party. My son was thrilled and loved the special attention he got from Patches. I would highly recommend The Kids Train for any party or event. My son still talks about the train that came to his party. The jumpy house that was also included in the package was very clean and kept the kids entertained for hours.

I rented The Kids Train for my 5-year old daughter's birthday and it was a huge hit among the kids and the parents. The entire experience from ordering to the delivery of train ride was extremely pleasant and interactions with company was quite straightforward and simple. Mr. McFlenderhouse was professional, prompt, and the kids loved him. Both the parents and the children enjoyed the experience; a fun train ride around the neighborhood with whistle blowing and and bubbles flying!!!

I would highly recommend The Kids Train for a birthday party.
