I would not recommend this company for an appraisal on Cape Cod.
- The appraiser comped a newly renovated home with a tear down. He also comped a home 0.1 miles from the beach to a home over 2 miles from the beach. Both realtors agreed the market value provided was consistent with a land only purchase.
- After providing the appraiser with 2 pages of more appropriate comps, he disagree with both the selling and the listing agent and didn't change the value.
We had another appraisal come in 125k above what this company provided.
