We are not only a custom bakery that creates over the top one of a kind creations, but we are a local bakery where we offer a variety of gourmet treats. We offer 12 different flavours of our signature cakelettes (our version of a cupcake) each week. We also have giant cookie sandwiches, jumbo rice cereal treats, cake by the slice, along with other signature items.
Here at A Cake Come True, we love to create flavors to fit all pallets! Feel free to get creative and choose your own flavor combinations OR take a look at some of our most popular flavor combinations! If you don't see a flavor you would like, feel free to ask, we are usually more than happy to accommodate requests.
I started my cake journey in 2008 during a very challenging season in my life. I was a stay at home mom of 5 children, ranging from teenagers to a toddler, a child on the spectrum and one diagnosed with a rare disorder causing her to become wheelchair bound. Watching a video one day sparked an interest in making a cake.
We love nothing more than designing an original cake for your special day with your personal style and theme in mind. There are many variables when it comes to setting a price for a wedding cake - the complexity of design, the number of servings, among other things. We are a bespoke bakery using a European-style buttercream resulting in a super refined and smooth, not overly sweet buttercream.
Our Simple Choice Collection buttercream cakes are for those who want a more timeless buttercream wedding cake without all the frills. Our Collection can be semi-customized. These cakes are typically a rustic semi-naked cake or a classic textured buttercream cake with a beautiful flower arrangement.

I absolutely loved using this baker for our wedding! Holy smokes that cake was delicious! They were so helpful and wonderful when we went to our tasting. The cake was so moist and the frosting was delicious. I also loved that they included my pets in our wedding cake, it was such a loving touch! My husband wanted a Sherlock Holmes cake for the grooms cake and they delivered! I am from Texas, but the next time I come up to Colorado, I will definitely order from them again!

Lisa is amazing! She created exactly what we were looking for, her flavors, texture, and design are top of the line. The guests had so many compliments for the cake. One of them doesn't even like wedding cake and ate 4 slices of the cake! Lisa was very friendly and easy to work with. My mother wanted to do the sugar flowers for the cake and I thought she was going to have to put them on herself but Lisa offered to help with this and really made them look great. Thank you so much for making our day so sweet!!

Lisa at A Cake Come True is amazing! We purchased our 3 tiered wedding cake from her and we couldn't have dreamed of anything better. We gave her a few ideas of what we kind of wanted (design wise) and let her and the team run with the design. Clean elegance is what we were going for and they nailed it!! And do not be fooled! This is not a bakery that just makes the cakes look amazing, they taste even better!! After our first meeting (tasting appointment with Lisa) we had a hard time deciding on what flavors to choose - they were all so yummy!! All of our wedding guest couldn't say enough about

I have been a long time loyalist to Lisa and all of the sweet dreams she bakes to "Come True!" Her designs speak for themselves as true pieces of artwork.
Hands down the most amazing wedding cake I've ever tasted (being a fat boy at heart believe me, I've done the leg work)! Her European butter cream is not to sweet which perfectly balances her dense moist butter cake with fresh fruit compotes or chocolate ganache layers woven throughout.
"Not a cake person," (as if there were such a thing) her mini tartlets, cake bites, macaroons, cheese cakes squares, and mouses, (OH MY!!) are all just as magical

Lisa was amazing! She was so wonderful from the first moment we met her during the cake tasting- she really took the time to go through selections and options with us. All the cakes we tried were amazing! She created a beautiful Aspen tree masterpiece for us to go with the wedding theme. At the actual even our guests gushed about not only how beautiful the cake was but how delicious all the flavors were! Her team was kind, punctual, professional. My fiancé and I got married on September 17,2021, our event planner recommended Lisa and that was the best decision ever! We had our first tasting back in March and she had everything nicely plated for us with variety of European whipped icing (so light and fluffy not too sweet) and compote fillings! The cake was so dense and moist , incredible! Lisa took my exact vision and created the most amazing sketch, just like I wanted! My fiancé’s sister is a baker and she even said it was the most amazing cake she had ever seen and tasted! Hire Lisa if you want the best cake ever!

An appreciation party held by the Denver Hearse Association for the founder of the club.
As hostess, I assumed a cake would just be icing on the top! An edible piece of cute artwork of the founder's hearse? Even better!
But what makes a designer's cake even better is the taste of it. And this commissioned piece just topped that off!
The whole club enjoyed this edibly delicious piece of artwork!
However; the coach on top was not eaten- as per the demands of our furious leader. He enjoyed this chibi version of his real life vehicle. Even down to the attention to detail of the red stripes

I just ordered from these guys for the first time, and I am beyond happy!!! Not only is it absolutely stunning, but it's delicious as well. The cake is soft and spongy and perfectly sweet. The frosting is perfection. You can taste the butter in it, and I've never had better. Thank you guys!!! My daughter is extremely happy. This made her birthday party quite lovely. I placed an order for a dozen cookies, and I was amazed at how great they came out, the best thing for me was seeing my loved ones face when he opened them, which made it even that much more special. Lisa is such an amazing cake artist! We ended up getting a smaller cake for our elopement than we had originally planned for our large wedding (postponed due to COVID). Lisa created the most beautiful cake I've ever seen, and it really made our day. Not only was it gorgeous, but it was delicious, too. We didn't give her a ton of direction, since we were scrambling to re-plan our wedding. Lisa took my idea of a celestial cake and it turned out more beautiful than I could have planned.

I was in the area on 5/9 and saw that they were open for curb side pick up only. I called in, looked at the menu online and ordered 6 cupcakes to go and paid over the phone. They need about 30 minutes to prepare them and they bring it out to your car when you arrive.
It's about $20 for 6 cupcakes. Yes, it can be considered pricey if you can compare them to a grocery store but these cupcakes are well made, quite sizable, unique and flavorful!

I cannot say thank you enough, Lisa! We received so many compliments and praise for your beautiful cake, and Tucker and I loved every aspect of it! You are truly amazing at what you do, and we cannot say thank you enough! We had a crazy vision to have 3 hanging cakes from a cake swing. We were blown away by the display.
