We had Al come out to take a look at our valve box and when he arrived he looked at it and said it was working fine, no leaks. But offered to do a "Mole" control dig out which would cost $3,500 to do for each box location, this was a definite NO. He also offered to sale my husband a 10 plus year old used control box for $700.00 and stated that a new one would be $1,500 or so, again NO. Basically nothing was done and I came out with a $425.00 bill. His fee's are unreal, even charges to use his tools, fuel to site, initial service fee on top of an additional $180 fee, plus another $35.00 fee for

I made an appointment for Al Sievers to check out an irrigation system installed by the previous owners of our property. I was told there would be a service fee associated with inspecting the system. I agreed to the fee as I believe in paying for someone's time. On the day of the appointment, I spoke with Al on the phone prior to his arrival. I gave him details on the house and answered all of his questions to the best of my ability. Our house can be difficult to find on the first visit, so prior to ending the call, I made sure to give Al very detailed directions. He even asked me if the driveway

I moved into the Vancouver area at the end of November 2019. They winterized my system and then again in April of this year charged the system. They programed and replaced two sprinkler heads that were not functioning properly. They have been very polite on the phone and in person , have returned my calls quickly and were very professional at my residence. I will use Al Sievers Sprinkler Services again and have already scheduled winterizing the system for this year.

Al Sievers should be ashamed of himself.
His office was told full details of my sprinkler leak, no pooling, not water thru heads, but river coming out of storm drain into street.he spent 10 minutes, trying to turn on controller, could not bend, and could not see. Then trys to sell me new controller for $899, it's on rainbird site for $150. He did nothing, then said he can't see underground, so to call leak locators. I asked why did he come out? Says not for his office to deside. Bill was
$250 for nothing. I live on social security, that's alot of money to me. Next compliant will be to state,

Hired him a few years ago for a simple job. Ended up being dramatically over charged such as around $25 for him to clean his lightly soiled shovel, charged for a full quart of pvc when he used a small portion of a half-pint can, and over 30 minutes of sleeping in his truck on the clock. All told over $900 for an hour of work. Admittedly his work was done well, but it was extremely over priced, and he padded his bill in several more ways. I have the documentation to prove it.

NO stars for this huge rip-off company of thieves. They came out to look at our sprinkler system, which is not currently working. Nick (the son) ran about 50 ft of wire and dug a small hole by our house. He was here less than 2 hours. He said we needed a new controller box and offered to finish the work for $2500.00. Yes, $2500! We got another quote which was about 10% of that and told them no thank you. We just got their bill- $650.00. They charged us over $200 for 50 ft of the same cable that is at Home Depot for $24.95 , plus several hundred dollars for the time they did basically nothing. I

Please listen to the reviews! I didn't believe them - until Al came out and I got burned like everyone else. I have no doubt that Al could do great work, but his pricing and desire to dismantle my existing system to install the perfect irrigation system on my residential lot was very much out of budget.
We bought a house in the fall, and never ran the system. I called Al in the spring to get him to come take a look (to make sure I didn't flood my property when I turned it on for the first time) - and do whatever maintenance needed to get the system ready

I will never use Al Sievers Sprinkler Service again. It was the worst experience I had to repair my sprinkler system in the front yard. After two visits and $811 (excluding price to replace a jumbo valve box lid), covering 3 hours of labor, parts, supplies and tool usage - my system was still not working properly. In the end, I had no confidence in Al’s expertise when he gave me 4 possibilities of what the problem could be. We parted ways. Subsequently I called Landscape East &West to fix my sprinkler system. Their technician fixed my sprinkler system for $433. None of the options Al suggested

Al came out the day I called him and fixed our broken sprinklerhead in 10 minutes. But then he talked and talked, checked the water meter, talked more, and then charged us $395 for 1 3/4 hours of" work"!! Really? He charges $95 to come out and $90 an hour. Unless you put firm perameters on Al, call someone else to help you. My husband is furious and I feel terrible that I allowed Al to take advantage of us🙁
