Had an amazing weekend at Lazy Acres! Beautiful views on this property. Amanda is so nice and easy to talk to. Only a couple minute drive to Lexington where there is so much to do! And not that far away from the natural bridge, also a beautiful site to visit. We we're slightly nervous about how close the cabins are to each other but the set up is so perfect it's like there is no one around you!

Wonderful place to stay! We felt confident that everything had been cleaned, from top to bottom, during our 3-night stay here when visiting Lexington, Virginia. The cabin was really clean and tidy, and the view is unbeatable! From our cabin, which was the second cabin, closest to the horse farm, we had a lovely view of the Shenandoah Valley down below. I spent most mornings sitting on the back porch (really comfortable seating there), glimpsing the stunning sunrises through the early morning mist. There are plenty of places to sit in the cabin - a comfortable couch, a rocking chair, and a

I've stayed here before with my family that's from out of town and the place was nice and the customer service was really friendly. A couple of years pass by, and I wanted to get out of the house for a few days just because the quarantine has me going nuts! I Tried to make a reservation but did not like the customer service when I told her I have a 12 week old puppy. I explained that he hasn't used the bathroom in the house since i've gotten him (the people I got him from trained him extremely well) I was then told that she doesn't believe me because her puppy still goes

If you have never been to Lazy Acres you are missing out! We recently stayed there for two weeks and had such a wonderful time . The Baxter’s (owners) are incredible and they make everyone feel so welcome on their property. We had the luxury of staying in the lodge and during such a difficult time it was just what we needed. The home is well equipped, clean, cozy and has breathtaking views (blue ridge mountains, horses, cows etc.) I also want to mention two amazing dogs - beautiful Bella Bellucci and a very busy Benji who kept us very entertained! Thank you Lazy Acres! To all my friends,

Beautiful scenery, quiet and tucked away in the mountains - this cabin has everything you could possibly need. Though it sleeps 6, we would recommend this for one family as there is only one bedroom and the loft upstairs is an open area. There is one bathroom. This could be perfect for a couple with kids.
The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and even had a tea pot. The only thing we were missing was the dishwasher-you have to wash dishes by hand. There was oil and spices already in the cabins for basic cooking.
The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo

Lazy Acres cabins are cute, comfy, and located conveniently next to Lexington downtown and the Virginia Horse Center.
On arrival, Amanda greeted us and showed us around the immaculate cabin. Each cabin has a loft with two single beds, a king bedroom, and a pullout futon couch. Everything worked fine and the kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils and a toaster.
The cabins are on Lazy Acres Farm with great views of the mountains and horses grazing in the calm pastures. Definitely recommend for a relaxed weekend in the mountains.

A large group of us rented Amanda & Dave's house and one of the cabins. We had an amazing time. Both locations were ideal for our trip - squeaky clean, spacious and the views are spectacular. The kitchen was so well stocked with pots & pans, utensils and herbs and spices. Previous guest must not have realized and there must be a dozen salt and pepper shakers in the kitchen!!! Clean bed linens and towels were provided also. The hot tub was a bonus and the Wi-Fi signal was excellent
The location is convenient for anything going on in the area and the Baxter's were perfect hosts. We will be staying

The property is gorgeous and Amanda and David are very gracious hosts. We stayed in one of the two cozy cabins on the property, but were allowed free reign of the entire area, including fishing pond and numerous fields. Nestled in the mountains just minutes from Lexington, it's a great vacation spot with lots of activities available. We highly recommend and will be going back for sure. - Eric, Chapel Hill, NC
