Behavioral & Counseling Services
Our therapeutic services are offered by trained and licensed psychotherapist that strive to improve your overall quality of life. Whether you are struggling with current life stressors or battling with past traumas, we are here to strengthen and empower you to be your best self. Therapy sessions are in-person at our office and are typically 50-55 minutes in length.

Sessions offered include Individual, Family, and Couples Therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. We can focus on behaviors with Behavior Modification or incorporate Experiential treatment modalities through Play Therapy, Art Therapy, or Music Therapy.
Services
Behavior Modification is a specialized treatment approach for children and adolescents to change a particular undesirable negative behavior. This approach has been found to be successful in treating disorders like ADHD, OCD, phobias, separation anxiety, generalized anxiety, disruptive behaviors and autism, among other conditions.
Art Therapy involves the use of creative techniques such as drawing, painting, collage, coloring, or sculpting to help people express themselves artistically and examine the psychological and emotional undertones in their art.

With the guidance of our clinician, clients can "decode" the nonverbal messages, symbols, and metaphors often found in these art forms, which should lead to a better understanding of their feelings and behavior so they can move on to resolve deeper issues. As with any form of therapy, your first session will consist of you talking to our therapist about why you want to find help and learning how our therapist can help.
Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a licensed professional. Music Therapy is an established health profession in which music is used within a therapeutic relationship to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of individuals.
Behavior analysis is a scientific discipline. It has theoretical, experimental, and applied branches; distinct research methods, scientific journals, textbooks, scholarly and professional organizations, and university training programs; as well as well-established, widely recognized professional practitioner standards and credentials.

My husband and I have been receiving counseling from Amy since July. We began going to her and uncovered a lot of truths about our marriage. We do sessions together and separate which helps us to find a good balance. She had really helped us to reconnect! Highly recommended!

I have tried several times over many years to find a therapist who can help me. I am so happy I found BCS. I still have a long way to go, but I am already happier than I have been my entire life. For any woman seeking help with an eating disorder, I highly recommend BCS!

I have been attending appointments biweekly for over a month and have since seen improvements in my self-esteem and my management of anxiety and depression. The office is a comfortable environment and my therapist is wonderful. Everyone I've been in contact with in the office has been nothing short of pleasant. I highly recommend working with this team!

Very warm and welcoming team of mental health professionals. Would definitely go back again. I feel like I’m getting the treatment I need. They use unique and modern day approaches to mental health. Overall it was a refreshing experience and for the first time in years I feel like my life is back on course and has meaning. I want to give a BIG “Thank you “ to everyone who works there, and I look forward to seeing you again.
