We went to this bar that wasn't crowded at all on Saturday before Halloween to play some pool. This was our first time at this bar and last time. We took over someone's pool table and traded our IDs because you have to give your ID when you play pool not a big deal. BUT the staff didn't tell us that we had to bring all the equipment back until we were done playing . The bar manager (he said he owned the bar) was VERY RUDE and spoke to us like we were stupid and drunk when we weren't. We didn't know the policies to play pool before playing pool and instead of explaining

Dont let this place fool you! No matter how the pictures look.. its a pool bar. Great pool bar at that. Great vibes and a great time. Only reason its 3 stars for me is because they were out of all the whiskey I'd drink. Had the waitress coming back and forth saying they dont have it or are out of it. Great reasonable prices and great times with good people. Tequila shots are on point! Haha. I recommend it regardless of my 3 star.. its just me being salty foe having to get a beer when i wanted a whiskey. Good place if I was a SD local for Pool!

I've been here twice before, years ago, but this is the first time I've ever had their food. Really surprised for bar food. Like, really. They suggested I get the shrimp tacos. I got two of them with the guacamole and they were so big I needed a separate plate. Jeff is awesome as well. Very friendly and nice service! Lively atmosphere but not overwhelming. And the door guy is amazing and totally hot.

My review was recently deleted, but this needs to be said.
The tall guy that keeps yelling at people when they walk in has an ego that he needs to conquer.
Instead of looking and these reviews and getting upset and remaining the same, he should take the constructive criticism and try to find a solution.
Putting a rope across the door would GUARANTEE that no one would walk in.
My worry is that he actually wants(or needs) this confrontation in his life.
Good luck with your business and I hope you can find inner peace.

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews of this place. Granted, I've only gotten food here twice (and both times were takeout), BUT I have absolutely zero complaints. In fact, I truly believe that this might have been some of the best American food I've had in San Diego. Everything was super hot when I arrived to get my food, which is so important to good tasting food. The chicken fingers above all were incredible. Perhaps the best chicken fingers I've had in a long time. Just the perfect amount of crispy, perfect size... The fries were also super crispy and well-salted

So I went there with a friend to play some pool and drink some beer. Before getting a pool table the waitress took my DL and a debit card. When we were done I paid for the pool and drinks cash+ tips. Next day I've discovered that they still charged my debit card. Okay, calling... explaining the situation to some person, they get my contact information and promise, that the manager will call me back tomorrow. And the next day I receive a call from the manager. Explaining the issue again....Then spent like 20 minutes on the phone to tell them all my information (first name, last name, debit card

We used to play here during Covid, because all other famous pool houses such as OnCue and O Billiards are closed. I give them credit to keep the place open. But the tables are just frustrating. If you have higher standards like a league player or similar, you will constantly be annoyed. The balls bounce off the pockets all the time, because the Pool Table Pocket Liners have been set up wrong.
1) The pocket liners poke out the pockets, so when the ball is about to go in, it hits the pocket liner, and goes back to the table.
2) They are way too high. In certain positions, your cue stick is being

My friends and I were walking around pb on a Saturday for brunch. All the popular restaurant had 1-2 hour wait but this place was so empty. We decided to stop here because we were so hungry. We wanted bottomless mimosas. They don't offer it here but they have $5 mimosa and we bought a bottle a champagne for $20.
The food took a while to come out. I got the chicken pesto panini. It wasn't bad but it was pretty dried.
They do not have contactless menus if you're curious with all the Covid going around. You basically have to have a mask to enter and not required to wear it unless

THIS PLACE IS A MUST SEE FOR !ALL BILLIARDS PLAYERS!, local or visiting. Vegas quality tables. Central location in Pacific Beach, large, open space (as contrast to most of Pacific Beach), very writer friendly (bags must be checked). Fifth Star for faster service (the wait times did not match the crowd size, in my honest opinion).
