Able S-O-S Sewer Service

Unprofessional!!!! Cursed me out and wished my house gets flooded with raw sewage. In addition, he wanted to charge me $629. And this is a business...what a joke!

I am a realtor in Central NJ and needed a drain cleaned for a client in need in Jersey City NJ. I used Able SOS for work I needed done years ago so I gave my client their info. My client called me to let me know how professional, efficient and friendly their experience was with this company. They were extremely neat and protected my clients property while getting the job done and in the end that is what we want as customers. Highly recommended.

Positive - came out quickly, were out in 30 min for $400 - which was what I was quoted

Negative - lots of splattered sewage, put up some plastic tarps if they are coming as it can easily be prevented

Positives: Service was prompt, considering it was a rush not terribly expensive.
Negatives: They left a mess, sewage splattered all around, ruined my mother's shelving. This could have been prevented with some plastic tarps, which I even could've provided. Be sure to ask how to avoid the mess when they come.

Ok, I used these guys again. We just had a huuuuge rain storm and my outside drain over flowed. I was scared the water was going to back up into my house. I called them when I got home from work, around 6:30ish. There were able to come out that same evening, in about 2 hours of me calling. They were able to fix the issue. Really nice guys, I would highly recommend them.

Called Able SOS last Saturday when one of our bathroom's drains reached unbearable. I called late morning, had great communication with dispatch, and someone arrived in a few hours.

He made quick work of the clog, made sure there was no leaking below, and everything's running quickly as it should.

Overall, a good experience getting a pain resolved painlessly.

Wife was home alone did not shop around and we got ripped off by these people. $240 to remove a clog in laundry pipes. 15 min work. Then I called to complain they tell me "we have high overhead". Avoid this shameless company.

I got a call from company owner and after lengthy he refused to give me partial refund, suggesting that its extortion. I flagged his review as self service that is against Yelp protocol of reviews by customers only.

Button line is that the service they provided cost me $100 including tip last year from a licensed plumber. If you don't want to overpay avoid

Jim came highly recommended by a friend and he was great! Some other company said we needed a $1400 job but luckily my husband didn't trust them. So I reached out to friends on FB and Jim was recommended. He came and did an assessment, explained things to my husband and said definitely not a $1400. He snaked out our main pipe that goes out to the sewer line and charged us a very reasonable price...no where near $1400. We will use Jim again in the future.

I have no idea what I would've done without them. I called at midnight Sunday with a major sewage backup in our condo in Hoboken. Call was returned in 15 minutes. Jim arrived within an hour and the problem was resolved shortly thereafter. This would have been a catastrophe as we have 2' of snow coming over the next 48hrs. Can recommend them highly enough.

Overpriced service. With 100's of licensed companies in Bergen and Hudson counties there is no reason to overpay. They charged a lot more than other comparable services. When I complained and wrong negative reviews the owner called me and asked that I will modify the review out of the kindness of my hart. He did not make any attempts to rectify the situation and make me happy.

After a call from the owner regarding my post I am satisfied that this company really does value their customers and this was a one off case of an overwhelmed employyee having a bad day. The resolution to our situation is just icing on the cake, nothing compared to having my wife contacted directly and be apologized to. Way To Go Able!
