Joe Kelly, owner of The Clip-On Guys, managed an optical store in Lancaster, PA. "Do you have clip ons for these?" was the familiar question from patients selecting prescription frames at the eyewear store. Of course, the answer was always "No". So, Joe decided to change that. Utilizing simple, existing technology, The Clip-On Guys company was born in 1998 as a retail business to provide custom clip on sunglasses.
Our customized polarized clipons are made using a patented machine and patented polarized blank lenses. The lenses are cut from a pattern we make from your photocopy of your frame. I've used E Clips clip-ons for many years. They are high quality, light weight, and well fitting. I recently had a pair that developed a strange optical defect. I called E Clips and got a human being after just one or two rings! They told me to return the defective pair which they promptly replaced free of charge. E Clips customer service is every bit as excellent as their sun glasses!
