Services
Memorial and Labor Day weekends have a three-night minimum and require full payment in advance. Our tree cottages are built on stilts, eight to ten feet off the ground with small porches and are insulated for year-round use. Four older and four newer cottages are available for reservations. None of our tree cottages have electricity.
There are two outdoor (but private) showers with hot water and the ability to lock yourself in. There is one heated, indoor shower for winter. The camp shop offers wood, ice, charcoal, coffee, sodas, snacks, canned goods, T-shirts, lanterns and things that people forget - like marshmallows, condiments, toiletries etc.
Happy noise during the daytime is part of the joy of camping. Thoughtless noise such as loud radios, screaming and shouting, and any noise after 11 pm is a breach of camper courtesy and may risk a request to leave the campground. Because of the mountain setting, sound carries very easily, so campers should consciously try to be quiet after 11 pm.
One rule we have had for 46 years is, there is no entrance or exit allowed into or out of the campground without prior permission between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. This is for common sense safety reasons so we can all get a good nights sleep. It is important to us that all campers enjoy their stay. One campers' enjoyment should never come at the expense of their neighbors' enjoyment.

Wonderful peaceful place for family time. adorable cottages and treehouses. outdoor showers are private, each with a dressing- room adjoined, hot and cold water...wonderful. Plenty of room to be worry free in pandemic. Bathroom restricted to one person or one family at a time. General store has ice, water, soda, graham crackers and chocolate, bug spray, propane for portable grills and charcoal and firewood. Cottages equipped with outdoor charcoal grill and fire pit as well as a wood stove for cold nights. beautiful setting. appalachian trail just down the road.

So. Much. Fun!!!!!!!
The owners are SUPER friendly and go out of their way for anything! We forgot foil and they went and got us some! The bathrooms were cozy, toasty and clean. The cabins were warm comfortable and the VIEWS! The best part is how quiet it is. We wanted a weekend to unwind and restart away from all the craziness and that's just what we got. Everyone's super considerate. The hikes surrounding the camp site are beautiful & lots of pet friendly restaurants too. We had both dogs and there was at least 10 food places near that allowed dogs. But we cooked out majority of the time with

I was here camping, making a reservation was smooth and easy. I spoke to Abby and she was so helpful and nice, she assigned me to the beech house which she said it’s the oldest among all the tree houses “which is ok with me” there was a little problem regarding the wood stove pipe but I called the office and Nick came over to fixed the problem, he was a nice guy. I really like the ambience, wooded area nice settings, 11pm is No loud noise time which campers are following the rules. The only downside in this beech house is a little close to the road where you can hear the cars passing by,

Such a lovely way to camp! We opted for the tree cottage instead of fussing with a tent, and we loved it! My beloved has been there several times but this was my first time, and it did not disappoint! The proprietors were kind and accommodating, and the facilities were sparkling clean! I truly cannot wait to return next fall, and every fall as long as I can!

My partner and I arrived later in the day on a Friday after work and stayed a weekend at the unit called Magnolia. Make sure when visiting the campgrounds that you have a lantern available as the units are significantly darker than you might expect. Magnolia was very clean on the interior. At the exterior, the landscape slopes toward the cottage more than we thought was comfortable. The showers and dishwashing facilities were in good condition. This region generally has quite a few different attractions for nature lovers including a long hike along the Appalachian trail nearby and proximity to

Our family gathered here for the weekend to celebrate my sister's 50th birthday. This was our first time here, and we loved it! I can only echo much of what has already been written in previous reviews about the friendly service, clean facilities, great location, etc. We also really appreciate the campground's "quiet hours" and no music policy.

We brought our 6 year old grandson here for his annual birthday adventure! We stayed at Hobbit House. It is adorable! It is the only cabin with electricity but still primitive in my book. (I'm not a camper). The cabin truly does make you feel like you're in Middle Earth! There is a beautiful table inside, two queen mattresses (bring your own linens), a wood stove inside, a grill and two additional tables outside, and a fire pit! The owners are super friendly and the entire complex has many really cute treehouse camp cabins! It's about 15 minutes from a grocery store, McDonalds

This place was awesome! The people running the campgrounds were very sweet and helpful. The tent sights were private and beautiful and it made for the best camping trip ever. Also not far from harpers ferry and some quality hiking in the area. We loved this little slice of heaven and will definitely be back.

Went here for my 1st time camping! It was a great experience. Awesome campsite. They had a store that sold all the essentials one would need if they forgot something! The owners are so nice. There were bad storms and they came up to check on us and make sure everyone was okay! Also, they left wood out overnight and on the honors system you could pay for it the next morning. We slept in a tent, however they had tree houses that you could also rent. I will definitely be back! Close to Frederick and Harper's Ferry. Thanks for an awesome mini vacation!

We were six adults, and had a ton of fun here. I'll definitely take kids there, too. The cabins/ treehouses were clean, we had a nice campfire, and there was a lot to do nearby during the days (hiking, tubing, visiting vineyards and Harper's Ferry). There are treehouses and some that are like cabins on stilts. We stayed in the latter. It was very rustic, basically camping. There are some nicer ones that were all full the weekend we wanted to go. There were shared showers that were also clean and well-taken care of. And the costumer service was great. This place is in high demand
