The recipient of the John and Janet Carson Award for Public Health Policy in 2012, Dr. DiResta has again been elected chair of the APHA Podiatric Health Section for 2014 to lead podiatry in the national public health arena. A graduate of The Dartmouth Institute, Dr. DiResta holds an MPH degree from Dartmouth Medical School and serves as the mentor for the APMA Podiatric Public Health Fellow at Dartmouth.

Dr. Diresta performed bunion surgery on my right foot and a year later Dr. Barnes did the same on my left foot and I have nothing else than appreciation for both of them. I was very skeptical about the surgery procedure and they both gave me the comfort I needed to get it done. The staff is friendly and always ready to help as well. So; Blessed to be able to count with such a Team! Thank you!

My wife and son have both been cared for by Dr. James DiResta & Associates and have been treated by both Dr. DiResta and Dr. Barnes. Great experience. Excellent bedside manner. Office staff and Dr’s work great together . Office girls are very patient ,very polite and very attentive. They go above and beyond what they’re supposed to do. Very busy office and you never feel rushed. I would never go anywhere else. Nice to feel like not just a number in a doctors office.

Absolutely wonderful practice! The physicians take their time with their patients and educate you on your problem/diagnosis so you fully understand what is going on. Answered all of my questions so I felt confident when leaving my appointment with my treatment plan. The office staff is extremely accommodating when booking your appointment and are knowledgeable if you have any questions regarding your insurance. Also, Dr. Barnes is phenomenal with children and making sure they feel safe and included in their appointment. Highly recommend this office for you and all your family’s foot care!

I had Dr DiResta, never Dr Barnes. He was so nice, answered all of my questions and was so patient with me when I had to get novocaine in my toe (because I'm such a big baby!) He would talk to me/joke around with me whenever I had to get a nail taken off just to help me calm down. My toe is doing so much better now after several months of pain, shots, and novocaine so it DOES hurt depending on what you need done, but I would absolutely recommend him. He has been doing this for over 40 years so he definitely knows what he is doing!
