I’m an event planner and had the pleasure to work with Spencer from Mclain’s Mobile DJ this past weekend at the Hyatt Regency In Lake Tahoe. Spencer was AMAZING! Both my assistant planner and I thought he was the best DJ we’ve worked with to date! He was friendly, professional and was attentive to guests requests, which is sometimes an issue with other DJ’s we’ve worked with. We had DJ Ensi at our wedding and he did a fantastic job! Everyone kept telling me how much they enjoyed the music and it felt like everyone danced nonstop all the way until the end of the night. Tracy had a positive attitude and helped our wedding event flow smoothy. We provided a playlist and she played 79% of our songs. We approached Tracy several times to ask to play more of our songs because we felt like a lot of ours weren’t being played and a lot of guest requests were answered to. Overall, guests had a good time, but we wish they played more of the music we provided.

Tracy and Ensi were an incredible team. Tracy was incredibly responsive and accommodating over the two years of wedding planning, from scheduling, rescheduling, and planning the specifics of the day. Day of, we couldn’t have asked for a better MC to keep our huge group on schedule and upbeat. The dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night. Tracy was kind, enthusiastic, and so caring and fun. The planning portal they offer you is comprehensive and ensures that the music and the day go exactly as planned and they were very responsive leading up to the wedding. We hired Ensi and Josh to DJ our wedding, and they were GREAT! They were extremely well-prepared and followed our requests to the smallest detail. Tracy went to our venue (Plumpjack) the week prior to our wedding just to familiarize herself with the DJ setup locations and took a video tour for the DJ that would ultimately be at our wedding. To me this was going above and beyond. We added uplighting and it was totally worth it. They kept us informed at every step of the way and helped the night progress so smoothly. We hired McClains Mobile DJ after our first DJ cancelled on us. Tracy was very professional from start to finish! She did an amazing job at engaging our guest and getting them on the dance floor! She even taught us a few dances!

We booked MCClain's DJ for our wedding back in late 2019 and we had Spencer as our DJ and he was PHENOMENAL! I cannot say enough good things about him! We got married at Lake Tahoe Golf Course which was absolutely amazing as well, but Spencer really knew how to make the night. We had a country rustic theme and we had people of all ages there and he knew exactly how to keep the party going and people dancing. He went out on the dance floor and had people dancing and never had a lull the entire night. Ask for Spencer, you won't regret it!

Oh my GOSH. I cannot say enough great things about Tracy. First of all, she is affordable. She has this super easy website that allows you to make payments & pick your favorite songs to be played at your wedding. She sets everything up in an extremely organized manner for each different thing you may or may not want a song for such as cake cutting, garter toss, etc. Not only is she an awesome Dj, but she acts as and MC, too! Our DJ, Ward Fitch, was fantastic! We worked with him on our song list and the plan for the day and he delivered great music and more during the wedding. At one point during the photos, he came out with a bottle of water to check on my husband and me, and that little act meant so much on a day that was as frazzled as ours. He "read" the room and played music at all the right times and interacted with the guests. I am a DJ myself (Bilingual Disc Jockey ) and when ever I am invited to some event where I am not the DJ, I always criticize the DJ; I don't tell them I keep it to my self. We all have different styles and personalities,

Unfortunately the music played for a wedding I attended was terrible. Several songs of super outdated music, culturally lacking. Weird to not see anyone dance, especially when this was a dancing crowd. Per request of dj, after several request from many in attendance, I went around with a pen and paper and took requests. Seemed excessive. Also ran around looking for an aux cord to ultimately hook up a phone for music. Overall disappointed in music service. The dj and his assistant did take time to listen to my concerns and have a constructive dialogue only to have the events woman come and start

Mcclain Mobile Music was a fantastic choice for my sons Graduation party. DJ Spencer or as we call him DJ SuSpence was upbeat, friendly, and overall amazing. The music was great for people of all ages. In fact, many of the recent graduates where asking why DJ Spencer did not DJ their Prom. I have now seen DJ Spencer and McClains Mobile Music all over Northern Nevada. This company never disappoints.
