Services
Freshfit Cafe serves healthy eats in a casual setting on the Nags Head waterfront. We use only the freshest ingredients, local seafood, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and clean proteins. If you have specific dietary needs, we're happy to accommodate. Our menu has options for most any diet, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free.

This is our favorite stop in OBX. The gluten free options are amazing and all of the food is excellent quality. They know how to make healthy food delicious and affordable! Highly recommended stop for breakfast and lunch for all sorts! Gluten free Banana pancakes, peanut butter cup smoothie, gluten free bagel egg and cheese sandwich, and the #3 breakfast meal were my favorites! My boyfriend also had the bacon and shrimp wrap which was excellent and full of shrimp! The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful, just like the rest of his staff.

We stopped in because they were supposed to have good gluten-free options and oh boy, did they! Bread, wraps, muffins, pancakes, and cookies!! Plus mostly everything on the menu was already gluten-free.
The food was healthy and extremely delicious!! You really can’t go wrong on anything you order! Their black bean hummus is particularly good!
The owners are incredibly kind and friendly! The cafe also sits right next to the water and the location is just stunning!
Don’t hesitate to check this place out!!

We really appreciated this place while we were in town. Everything was really good, juices, smoothies and food all impressed us and fit my dietary restrictions. They were really short staffed the week we were there, but that didn't stop us from eating here multiple times. I greatly appreciated having healthy options and staff was friendly!! Also, the location is on the water which was fun!

Amazing allergen friendly spot overlooking the sound. Wasn't able to snap pictures of the food before we devoured it - i ordered the breakfast platter with turkey bacon, over-easy eggs and a banana gluten/dairy free pancake. My eggs were PERFECTION - probably farm fresh, tasted amazing. My mom also got a breakfast platter with a peanut butter pancake and veggie omelette that she would eat every day. Slightly disappointed in my choice of side - we got the fruit cup. Not a fan of previous frozen blueberries but that is on me for ordering out of season fruit.

Absolutely delicious breakfast here in the Outer Banks! We did not expect to enjoy it this much but it's hands down the best breakfast we've had in either of our recent history! I had the #1 omelette with whole wheat toast, OJ and a Chai Latte, while my fiancee had the #1 breakfast platter and a regular coffee. My omelette was absolutely delicious and the goat cheese could not have been fresher. Fiancee said that his pancake was out of this world and he nearly licked his plate clean, also said the coffee was phenomenal. If you are looking for a great breakfast place, we cannot recommend

Saw some great Yelp reviews and we decided to check it out on a busy Sat morning. They are located in the shopping center right next to Kitty Hawk kites. There's plenty of parking and you can enter either in the back or the front of the restaurant. Lots of outdoor seating as well as some nice indoor seating. Since we had our dog we decided to sit outside. There's a nice view of the sound as well as jet skier's and boaters.

So much food! Healthy choices, lots of juices and feel good food. Hashbrowns we're extra dark but I like em that way.
Grab a menu and order at the counter before finding a seat. Great views of the water and friendly service!
The omelets are massive. Multi grain pancake is like a muffin had an illicit affair with a griddle.

Normally I have a clever opening or something to tie the reader into continuing the review. But honestly, Freshfit Cafe is just amazing and you should go there. I have Celiac so I always appreciate places that are aware of their allergens, but Freshfit Cafe takes it one step further and can make just about anything on their menu gluten free, dairy free, or vegan. And don't let that stop you if you're not sensitive or follow any of those, they have plenty of gluteny, dairy, and meaty things as well.

If you are GF/DF/VEGAN or if not, this place is such an amazing spot any time of the day. We stopped in yesterday for gluten free wraps, a protein bowl, and smoothies, and everything about our experience was superb. We even loved it so much we came back for breakfast. The gluten free pancake made my day! Service is amazing, great outdoor seating with a great view of the sound. I can't wait to come back again.

My favorite place in OBX! I love everything on the menu here and am so glad there is a healthy spot in Nags Head! I'm in love with their avocado toast and lunch/dinner bowls! You really have the option to customize just about everything, which is sure to please anyone you're looking to feed.
As if the food wasn't enough, the spot is placed perfectly by the water, with outdoor seating views that are too amazing to not enjoy

I was a bit amazed that this place was open for dine-in, with air conditioned seating indoors and a deck over the water which is where the action was. Their premise is customizable health food, and the bowl I ordered delivered tofu that tasted freshly seared along with a bevy of useful accompaniments. I was happy for the quinoa and black beans as vegetarian protein is not easy to find in the Outer Banks. Here, everything is labeled for vegan and gluten-free concerns. It wasn't a cheap bowl, but when you consider the excellent location overlooking the water and on the road

Excellent healthy food options. Salads, wraps, and smoothies.
Wife got the chickpea wrap and I got the turkey bacon and chicken wrap. Both large portions and really good taste.
Great selection of juices as well, we got the "cold buster" and it was delicious.
Fun location with great views of the sound. Seating is available both indoor and outdoors.
