Services
You have tried it all and yet, nothing seems to work. Do you feel stuck in patterns that do not serve you? There is more. Join the journey of counseling with me to explore new tools that are personalized to your situation. I am EMDR certified and solution-focused therapist that will personalize counseling to support your self-discovery, acceptance and growth.
Anxiety, comes in varying forms. It may be brought on by a life changing event or at times perception of the event such as the birth of a child, a health concern, or an automobile accident. Often people trace their anxiety back to childhood, recalling specific times when they felt anxious or afraid either in response to an uncertain home environment, a performance at school, or simply when entering a social situation.
Terms defined: psychotherapy is a general term for treatments that attempt to improve or resolve psychological problems; counseling also is a general term for a more problem-focused short-term approach to problem resolution, personal growth and behavioral modification. I work to support each client's unique situation, which may, at times, include working with a couple or family.
Just like most beginnings, the counseling process may seem overwhelming as you start. Dare to try, be patient and determined. A typical first meeting is a time to ask questions, share goals and learn more about each other. The initial meeting also is to learn more about how you have gotten this far and what is in your way to move forward.
